You can disagree all you want but I bet we don’t see any assistants become HCs anytime soon

Where do we see top level DEVELOPMENT of the players we recruit?

That’s what the last 3 QBs have done to NC State.

King isn’t even a good passer and he just torched these dudes.

If we finish this game and Beck is like 21/30 for 245 yards everyone involved with the program should be fired into the sun.

We had the best qb season in the the history of our program last year and couldn’t make the ACCCG. I like our defense. keionte Scott is a massive loss. I don’t have any confidence in the HC and I think Beck just isn’t that good for whatever reason - injury,m or just not it mentally - I don’t know. So yeah, we can lose tomorrow even with this defense.

Weird how everyone is scared of NCState. They average 32.4 ppg. We hate our offense yet we average 32.9. On the flip side NcState defense gives up 30.6 a game. They are awful on that side of the ball. We fielded one of the worst defenses in team history last year and we gave up 25.3 ppg lol Thats how bad NcState is on defense. They are 5 points worse than our awful defense last year.
 
In the days of rings , we’d shove it in and snap it off flush so it stuck .

Now a-days we just hand the ball off for no gain over snd over to set up a trick play to save our butts

The only reason we would do a trick play in the days of rings is to shove it in again and snap it off with no remorse.

The playoff committee chair said point blank that they "need to see more from Miami's offense". In those words.

We average 259 passing yards per game
NC State allows 292 passing yards per game

We allow 0.89 sacks per game
NC State only averages 1.44 sacks per game, which ranks 114th

PFF grades our pass pro at #3
PFF grades NC State's pass rush No. 65 and coverage 94th

No tight formations. No predictable runs between the tackles. We need to play with tempo and go pass heavy to fault, just to show the committee that we're capable of doing it if we need to.

If Mario/Dawson won't go away from tuff/phyzical bs this week, after being told by the committee that they need to, then pride and/or arrogance is the reason.

Will someone please explain to Mario that there is nothing more tuff nor fyzical than spreading your opponent out and beating them to a pulp one-on-one?

We can still do the scrums when we're up 4 tuddies.

Contain the qb run & explosives on defense and we should be fine assuming the O isnt total cheeks

None of us are scared of NC State. We are scared of Mario and company corching it up against a team we should be able to handle fairly easy.

NC State is not a “good” team, but they aren’t complete garbage like Syracuse and Stanford. These average/mediocre/decent teams in the ACC, whatever you want to call them, give us problems. For some reason, we struggle against them. Not saying we lose to them, but we play down to them. Close game until the end.
 
This is a game where we can't afford to go slow-paced and try to establish the run. The goal has to be points, not ball control. This NCST offense can score, and if we give them enough chances, they will. Also, Dawson can't go into a shell at the first sign of adversity.

I think this more to do with folks being more scared of our HC than the opponent.
Also, and this predates MC, our program has an uncanny way of embarrassing themselves vs programs which has a kid or two associated with UM via recruiting, soFla ties, etc. All of this plus it's November.

Beck needs space and pace.

Let the kid make quick decisions and get the ball out to the skill guys.

Would love to see Lofton stand next to Beck in the gun with 4 wide then motion Lofton out and hit the flats quickly (same with Toney). Stress the hel.l out of a depleted NC State defensive backfield
