Is Lane off the Table?

I don’t know why but I’m very confident Mario is a done deal. He’s coming.

This whole, ‘we will go after him this weekend’ thing is part of the deal. He doesn’t want to look like the talks started before the bowl game.

His agent and admin have squared it all away already.

The *** Man Jimmy Sexton represents nearly every Head Coach of the major P5 schools.

He’s also represents a ton of NFL players too, he’s the Co-Head of CAA the largest sports agency in the world.

He’s basically the Scott Boras of Football.
Yea the real question is who doesn't he represent lol

He loses a ton. They aren't reloading for 2022, but more of a rebuild. Arch Manning is 2023. It is not a foregone conclusion that Manning is heading to Ole Miss. The Manning's thought on Kiffin may or may not be positive.

The assumed element is that Kiffin signing the extension is contingent on Arch Manning signing with Ole Miss. I did not know he was 2023.

bumping this because I can't help but wonder - what happens if Mario says no. is it too late to make a push for lane? you think anyone has reached out to anyone? I can't see bringing Manny back but if that's the case why haven't they let him go yet?

Too late to make a push for Lane? Is there another university out there which has made him an offer?

Be honest.

Of course not. He has only hinted about coming to Florida so why would another school try and poach him. If they have, it has not been leaked.

Kiffin is in a good spot either way. He can stay at Ole Miss and ride out next season, then get the next golden boy Manning, or come to Miami. Honestly, he is probably better off staying in the SEC but I would love to have him in Miami.

Who doesn't like Lane as a coach, but I just got done reading some about his tenures (really didn't know much about him) - and he seems like a snake. He would be fun for a couple years but I don't think he's the type of man you rebuild around from a clean slate.

If Lane got beat by Utah 76-17 all the haters would be out in full force. Mario loses 76-17 and let's bring him home.
