Did this off-season absolutely fly?

The bowl game seems like it happened yesterday and we kickoff tomorrow. Crazy.

It was an action packed offseason, and to me it certainly seemed to go by faster than last year.

All of the exciting recruitment activity really helped to pass the time

First offseason in awhile with actual expectations + a question mark at the most important position on the field = LONGEST OFFSEASON EVER.

somewhat quicker than normal, probably bc I been watching highlights of all games all off season but it was still kinda long

I think it's something like this.

For the first time in forever, the offseason was virtually entirely positive. The ing and moaning, slurpers v. mopers, and all the other negative stuff just wears on everyone after a while. And whether it feels longer or shorter, there's no question that it makes the wait that much crappier.

Once again, the entire trajectory of the thing is looking up right now.

It took a long **** time but the key difference is that the Golden Era is over and we actually know where our program is headed now.

Before we had uncertainty and everyone argued and fought over different stuff. I remember the slurpers and mopers days. Boy this board and canes fans are in a whole different place. Once we really get back winning conference and national titles you will really start to see canes fans coming out the woodwork.

Anyone who had to endure being a fan under Al Golden deserves a medal.

It took a while to get out of that 12+ year rut we were in, where everyone had someone to blame for our lack of success. Amazing the good things that have happened since Shalala left, and UM finally paid for a coaching staff.

Watched almost every game from the 87,89,91,01 seasons and a handful from 86, killing time waiting for this season to start. Didn't make it any faster to me though. College football off-season takes forever.

All during the Golden years - I knew exactly where our program was headed - each time I flushed a toilet.
