I remember in the 30 for 30 where Don Bailey Jr was talking about "Is he a miami guy?" Miami guys are nasty. will fight scratch claw etc.
after seeing richt on the sidelines crying against BC. this is not the fit. JJ was running up schools and getting hard off it. Butch was all about
"Hit stick bust d&*k" our success has always been based around head coaches who were savages. Richt is no different than Coker, Shannon, or
Golden for that matter.

we have been mired in mediocrity for 15 years and it started with Donna S, whose deemphasis
of Football is felt to this day. when other schools were investing we were cashing checks and investing in U Health .
Still insist that a 7+ team is what school(BOT) wants regardless of what Fake Blake says ?!
how else can you explain choice of Deacon Richt vs. other candidates ?
the Deacon has been on down side past 6+ years at UGA and continues thru current tenure at UM.
we will muddle along at same pace for next couple of years at a 7 win pace, contending for Coastal division
titles but not much else.resistant to change seems scary, since game has changed so much into video football past 3-5 yeras
most concerning quote" these plays have worked for 30 years"
Need change at AD, asap as well........... B.James will never be confused with Sam Jankovich

donna was a Syracuse PHD that was trying to act like she was dean of an ivy league school.
She wanted Barry Alvarez. she is typically liberal. loses poor black people from a distance. they didnt want to recruit the
inner city kids as much. Butch specifically was all about getting kids from the hood.

Our program died when we left the Orange Bowl. Shalala and Dee could have easily led the campaign to renovate and every time I sit in the stands of Joe Sun Life Land Shark Rock Stadium I am reminded.

those are the facts that he's not a Miami guy as Coaches in the past have been, however dynamic has changed at it appears

correct, i actually swore to fellow Canes fans that the day they leave the OB i'm gone as well.
we could have purchased the OB at 1 time for 13M$...... say what you want the sight lines were great no matter where you sat. Prescption turf held up in rain and constant use
and Man what a Home field advantage
 
I don’t know if I have any more trust in me regarding any future coach. I believe I’ll just be a hard case skeptic until the next guy wins something worthwhile.

You don't get rewarded for stupid choices. I'm convinced neither Miami team will ever win a title in the current venue. Joe Robbie made the first moronic decision and then the Canes brilliantly piled on two decades later.

Meanwhile, the Orange Bowl still holds the record for longest pro winning streak and longest college winning streak.

The last home game against Virginia felt like a funeral at the time - the program is still grieving.

Forget the IPF, admin should have started a campaign to purchase Melreese from the city and build a new Orange Bowl - considering fundraising is the only thing CMR is good at.

Now, a nonexistent/expansion MLS team gets to play home games in Miami, while we get a 45 min drive home after losses to Duke.
