Is Gonzalez taking shots at Manny?

This administration is hopeless and so is this football program. This school has become trash academically and athletically under these incompetent fools. They should all be forced to resign and a new board be voted on by the alumni and students. Otherwise this dumpster fire will just get worse until the school ceases to exist.

I'll play along. Ed been here a few months. What is it that Ed is saying in those few months that hasn't been implemented??? Team went from 6-7 to 8-3 we don't have a Bama, Osu, or Georgia type budget. Things have been fixed in phases. Kicking was garbage has been fixed. Offense was garbage it's an complete 180 from the previous year. Yes we can all agree there is changes that still need to be made and will be made but progress is happening and will continue.
There was more wrong a year than there is today. This is not going to get fixed in 1 year this is going to be done in phases just like any other team has turned around it's program it happens in phases. See Clemson, Osu, Ala, etc this program is no different. Phases.

My question for Joaquin would be what isn't Manny listening to? He fired the entire offensive staff last year this year there will be lots of defenses changes made also

I’m sorry but you can’t be serious with this. There may be morons making terrible decisions about the leadership within the athletics/football program but you don’t pay Temple $3M plus Manny’s $4M salary plus assistant coach salaries in the top 25 if you don’t care about football.

Ppl keep saying that saying that Diaz has shown a willingness to adjust, and I’m here to call bull chit on that narrative. Diaz has shown a willingness to scape goat anyone that’s on the other side of the ball, as surely he & his side is not the problem. Surely his inability to recruit the position he was once responsible for is not the problem. Surely recruiting 35 strikers, and 2 Safeties is not the problem. Surely passing on CBs who don’t look 6’0+ is not the problem.

Until we see him make a change to the entire defensive philosophy that’s attached to him, it’s a moot narrative.

Thad put restrictions on Coach E and Prop 48 became a factor. Jimmy won 1 title with a “full cabinet” and Dennis won 2. Jimmy also lost to Penn State with the most talented team in college football in a game UM had non business losing. The experts here don’t give Coach E nearly enough credit but these guys do.....

Small dudes with big egos be accomplishing a lot lol. It takes a big ego to be successful sometimes, but if the ego does not match the will to succeed than you just have an angry little dude lol
 
He's not stubborn. He has to please the Southridge handlers. They are the ones calling the shots allegedly. These are the same handlers who wouldn't allow Richt's son and No'D to get fired. We don't have stubborn or stupid head coaches. Just bad shadow handlers. We need to look at the portal for some new handlers who are actually Canes fans. The handlers running the show for the last 15+ years are obviously Noles fans.

Completely agree. Not to mention, our former players also, sometimes, exert the wrong pressure on the program. Why do you think Rumph hasn’t been dismissed the past two seasons? He has massive support from our former players.

Dennis went to Oregon st after 49ers i think and team was loaded , he kicked ND in a bowl game 2-3 years later he could not keep the roses full and flamed out.

Maybe E. Reed is using Joaquin as a mouthpiece to put outside pressure on Manny. Reed has no power to make change, and if his suggestions aren't being listened to there is nothing he can do.
