Is Golden doing this for spite, or he wants to be fired?

No practice for 2 weeks and then the first two days are just newbies who probably won't see much playing time. They don't practice again till Tuesday and the week after that is bowl week when they will be doing a bunch of bowl stuff. If they practiced everyday(which they won't) from Tuesday till gameday, minus one travel day, that's 10 practices at most. For a 6-6 team on a 3 game losing streak and hasn't won a bowl game since forever. Fudge us!

Chad Thomas could be a great one. Hopefully this coaching staff don't ruin his career.

Its a shame bcuz him more then anybody would be ruined. Not only is he getting Golden's soft *** scheme & patty cake approach he also hes a little no D on top.

People *****ed when some of us had the audacity to suggest that a 6-6 team practice more. Have fun OP.

The BOT already missed a chance to can him after Pitt. They'll have another chance after we lose the bowl game. Another year of this crap will be ridiculous. We're looking at 4-8 next year with this guy. Send him packing.

They truly are the smartest dumb asses in the room. AG and his band of idiots would **** up a trip to the Bunny Ranch

Honestly there is no need to practice. During the middle of the season not much practice in the traditional sense is being done anyway. Practice is more about watching film and game planning. At this point in the season you are what you are.

Even if the 'Canes were fully competent (they're not), practice would be required to avoid their skills degrading. There is a need to practice.

The problem is that the people coordinating the practices are bad at their jobs.

The canes have had how many practices this year...if you are teaching the same things that got you 6-6 and blow losses all over the place, what is a few extra practices going to solve?

But that's different from saying there's no need to practice. Bad teams need to practice. They can't improve otherwise.

What you're saying is that they can't improve with practice, either. And that's probably true. Like I said, the problem is that the practices are being run by incompetents.

If you're in a life raft on the ocean, with no fresh water, you need a drink -- even though the water at your disposal is no good.

All teams need to practice. A competent optimist coach could put these players through individual drills that would help them.

El Foldo is a joke.

During the cloud fiasco and the missed bowl games all Golden and D'Onofrio talked about were how important those "extra 20-30" practices are.

He'll become Chick 2.0 in this scheme

Post Practice intereview yesterday CT says he is at 255 now and wants to be a 265 for next year. WE ALL KNOW HOW THIS ENDS **** GOLDEN AND ALL HIS *** CLOWN PEDO STATE AND TEMPLE *******.

MIAMI WAS BUILT ON SPEED NOT BLOATED, INFLATED DE'S

Shame that anyone supports Al Golden being the coach other than opponents. This dude is conducting a social experiment with our program to make himself into some kinda new coaching approach icon. Dude is such a joke that other schools find us laughable.

My one hope is that Folden is trying to avoid being too close to the team until Wednesday which is the earliest that UW can annouce their next coach.

I can dream can't I?
