Is FSU Football Back?

Pretty impressive win yesterday over a talented Duquense program who is coming off a 7 win season in the vaunted Northeast Conference. Travis looked pretty adept running that Wing-T offense my high school ran back in 2005 and I really think they're going to give LSU all they can handle next week. What say you?
I honestly had Duquense as one of their only loses this season. They may run the table at this point.

A lot of people in their feelings over this, but FSU just beat an FCS team 47-7 last night. They had multiple 100 yard rushers against this opponent, Rodemaker completed a pass, actually 2, while their starter Travis completed 10. There were touchdowns (worth 6 points each), and even a sack. Yes, FSU tackled the QB behind the line of scrimmage. I was told they very nearly did this twice.

Clown our rival all you want, but this was not a fluke. FSU would do that to Duquesne 8 times out of 10 times they played.

Duquesne caught them a few times on some misdirection stuff that would have been taken to the house by a P5 team. Also they had little to no pass rush all game. It was actually shocking.
I noticed that too. Perhaps they weren’t going 100% (wouldn’t bet on that), but if you struggle to get pressure against a team like Duquesne, you might just be in for a loooong season on defense.

I watched a quarters worth. Couple observations:

Travis still can throw the deep ball. Everywhere else he struggles.

Their o line looked better-more physical (yes I know it was duq)

Their starting H back and TE look like they grabbed them from Tallahassee Lincoln before the game. If they throw those dudes out there against top tier acc d line that’s a massive mismatch

Their attendance jokes get funnier by the year

Edit: forgot to mention them going for 2 on opening possession against Duquesne 🤣 not only do I not think norvell is a p5 coach but he’s incredibly goofy because he does weird **** like this weekly

The only thing I could think of was Duquesne seemed to be getting it out pretty quickly. Still. It was pretty bad. I will say their secondary looked excellent. Especially tackling.

When all is said and done the conversation will be not whether this FSU team was the greatest of all time, but rather if they undersold themselves by playing down to a college football level instead of moving up to play NFL opposition.
