Is FSU Actually Good?

i´ve watched this play a dozen times. messidor made money on that play, he play in that game and his play all year. i´m so happy for him
#4 rightfull gets most the hype, cause he's more physically dominant, but I've noticed #3 gets to the QB often before #4. Mesidor is a changed man this year. Credit maybe Hetherman or whoever said he needed to play DE and nutrition/training staff.

With all due respect, and there isn't that much due, why would anyone prefer us beating a 1 loss FSU team to us crushing the dreams of an undefeated FSU team? The argument is as old as time but it's never made any sense.

Who woulda thought we’d be sayin that?
My only fear is when Bain is gone there is no one top tier like that like him. I am already thinking of next season and I wish we were in reload mode. Maybe in a few years we will be there cause Mario already been recruiting kids since like 7th grade. So the more Miami propaganda by Mario to recruits, should be easier to land in the future and no one can negative recruit us now

Too much time to wait for this game so I'd like to do some rampant speculation based on small sample sizes:

I am sure both teams are going to come to play, but do we think FSU is actually good? If we are being real, the comfortable home win over Bama is one of the best wins of any team in the country to date and the offense looks explosive. But they are also just -6.5 favorites against Virginia this week (yes, on the road) and Virginia isn't bad, but they aren't good either.

Quick thoughts:

- I think Gus Malzahn and Tony White were excellent coordinator hires.
- I think Castellanos is REAL dangerous as a runner, especially in Malzahn's scheme, but I am not buying into the idea that he is an improved passer yet.
- I think their running back room looks pretty solid. That Kromah kid is a big boy.
- I think the Front 7 as good if not slightly better than what we saw from ND and UF.
- They are not very deep, especially in the secondary.

I am confident Miami is the better team.

If I had one big worry? Castellanos' scramble ability can neutralize some of our pass rush and we are still prone to giving up a big play or two in the passing game. If we keep Castellanos and the receivers in front and make them sustain drives, we should be able to beat them on that side of the ball.

Beck and the passing offense will be critical, because that is the best way to beat the 'Noles defense IMO.
