Is Coley the answer at Offensive Coordinator?

I'm not saying the guy needs to be fired, but I've just been kind of meh! with what I've seen from him so far. It's night and day between him and Jed Fisch. How long does he have to get this thing going?

His game planning and play calling are blah. Very predictable. I mean running dives out of the shotgun against 8 man fronts all game long. C'Mon man!!!

no, I think the no brainer option right now is to bring in a NFL vet whos sitting at home and hire him as a consultant to work with Coley.. the guys in over his head and has noone to turn to, he is coaching unchecked
 
He is not Fisch.

His play calling lacks any kind of flow. And running against a 8 or 9 man front is beyond stupid.

That said, he had WR's and TE's running around wide ****** open all game long. Doesn't have anyone worth a **** at QB to get them the ball. It is not his fault the offensive line stinks. I mean the worst offensive line i have seen in about 10 years. Not his fault QB recruiting before he got here was two stinkers who aren't even on the team. Or his senior veteran QB tore his knee up, or the backup is a Justin Bieber wanna be.

Coley was handed a **** sandwich last year with Downs Syndrome Morris as the QB, and of course this year's QB freak show. So it is really hard to tell just how bad he is.

his play calling is suspect, at best.

i think golden is already prepared to fire him, hence why he brought in Ice Harris, Kevin Beard and Jorge Baez, perhaps they can replace Coley the recruiter.
 
How much of his game day calls are dictated and directed by Al? Al has a philisophy of being conservative and I think it shows on both sides of the ball. I don't have any idea if Coley flat out sucks or if Al is the puppet master here.

Time for complaining about coordinators is over. Coley seems like a brash guy. He might not be **** as an OC but his personality doesn't seem the type to run out that conservative game plan we saw Monday. I think he got some marching orders from Folden.

They both suck. Coley was the oc at fiu for one season and they sucked. Then he swung around on Jimbo's nuts for a couple years at fsu and wasn't allowed to call plays. There's zero proof in his history that supports him being a good play caller.

No **** Einstein. Why is someone with the ineptitude of Coley here in the first place?

I really feel sorry for you if you believe the problem is solved by firing Coley.
 
Everyone is going to heavily blitz us this year--and he wont figure out how to deal with it.
 
The guy is grossly in over his head. He's like a toddler that's tossed into the deep end of the swimming pool and is sinking. His offence is better suited for the splashing in the shallow end where it's safe.
