Is clemson 2018 team the best team ever?

On the field, at the college level, not what happened with the NFL or draft, that's where our '01 team is vulnerable. People try and hang their hat NFL this or that, I don't as the discussion revolves around as a college football team. If you say otherwise, USC as Miami Nights posted is the winner.

In a best of 10 series, Dabo and company would coach circles around Coker's staff.

To me, the potential is for a repeat of the Sugar Bowl against Bama.

Talent wise, no question we're superior that '01 year in a player by player basis. Lawrence should surpass Ken, but for '01 KD vs '18 TL season I'm taking Ken right now. TL is by far the better NFL prospect, college aa well, but that has nothing to do with where he's at in his development today.

One game for all the marbles, I'm putting my money on us. Clemson though is discussion worthy though and had enough talent with great coaching to beat any team from any era.

But that's what tells you how great the players actually were. It's the only objective evidence there is. Anything else is just opinion and opinion is heavily influenced by what you've seen most recently. Like I said earlier. Wake me up when this Clemson team has a combined 46 Pro Bowls and 4 legit HOF candidates.

The Clemson 17 team got absolutely ROFL stomped By Bama last year. That **** never happened to any of those Canes teams. Your argument that this team is better than Canes is a joke !

Because this is a canes board and you are clearly trying to get a rise out of people. Why else would u even suggest people are saying something no one is saying. I haven't heard one person say Clemson best team ever. not one. If anything I have heard people say 1989 canes might be best but most agree its 2001 canes almost everyone says is 2001 canes not many disagree with this either.

Compared to Miami 2001:

OL. Miami
QB. Clemson. Which is really hard for me to do
RB. Miami. But etienne is really really good too
WR. Miami
TE. Miami

Defense is clearer.

DL. Clemson
LB. Miami
DB. Miami

ST. Miami

Coaching Staff. Clemson

People forget we ran Nebraska and their heisman QB off the **** field by halftime and Larry took foot off gas.

They’re more hung up on Bama getting crushed

Miami 2001 had a much tougher schedule too

Our final four opponents were ranked 14 or higher. We out-scored them

187-45 (about 46-11 on average)

95 Nebraska was voted goat a few years ago. It was between them and 01 canes. I’m just trying to say other teams were great too.
