As I recall, we seem to have a history of announcing suspensions on the eve of our first game. Like a swift little kick in the nuts to deflate your excitement for the upcoming season.

If he's suspended why is he running with the 1st team? As for Olsen, I now think his suspension was put in place prior to the bowl game but no one knew at the time how many games were involved, just assumed it was only the bowl game. Info is confidential & in a way it's unfair if that's what happened because everyone thinks he screwed up AGAIN over the summer but perhaps that isn't the case.

It was reported last week the Olsen suspension was not a carry over from last year.
