Is 2020 a rebuilding year?

Just assume our class is NOT loaded with 2020 impact players (I know, impossible), how do we look? If you must, you can count current question marks and duds as "definate 2020 upgrades".

The offense will be fine. Who know on the defense but our "best LB core in the country" is looking pretty easy to replace outside of romeo
 
I was thinking about this earlier and actually like the outlook. Gave me some reason for optimism. Have to do a better job recruiting though or it will be all for **** in year 3
 
Blowing people out to get brooks, joyner, and BJ decent burn would be nice. Sucks huff has to RS. Other than that we are young now.

I can't possibly see Thomas staying (although based on what he has shown so far he probably should). That said, even losing him I think we are ok on offense.

Offensive line should be good and the offense should be humming. Dallas and JT4 will be gone, but Cam and Lingard will pick up that slack. Secondary SHOULD be better but we’ll see
 
fellas, we can't even beat a fledgling UNC. We have a team full of average players, HS recruiting stars be damned. I can count on one hand the number of above average players we have on the team. 2020 will be much like 2019...

I think Thomas, Donaldson & Dallas jump... a couple of WRs out of Pope, Wiggins, Higtower, Harley transfer.
On D, Garvin is gone, but I think Bandy stays.
A lot could ride on Lingard playing like a day 1 pick.

And I doubt Harley transfers. Dude is getting burn, and has bought in.

Wiggins will be gone.
Martell will be gone.
Donaldson stays.
Dallas stays.

Excuse me but this is our rebuilding year. The fact that you can count them on one had is because they're not ready not that they don't have potential. At all the key positions we have fledgling players that are freshman or first year starters that didn't get much burn last year. We're all ****ed off at some of the boneheaded stuff we've seen but anyone who thought we were going anywhere past the Coastal was delusional.
