Tears Irish Tears

Why would we want to play crappy BYU? You wouldn't either. The main reason is it is because it is on ESPN, which is in bed with the SEC and took every chance they had to talk crap about us. We are about to be at war with ESPN and the corruption. No bowl games they are showing, no gameday allowed in South Bend, everyone unsubscribing to anything ESPN related, not watching the playoff, boycotting anything Disney, etc. We blame the SEC and ESPN 100% not necessarily you. Although you did your best to crap on us too. Which is why I would strongly encourage you guys not to come to SB next year for the game. If you do, don't wear any Miami gear. Just a heads up. It won't be friendly. Just from reading the boards today...again good luck in that joke of a circle jerk SEC playoff.
Visiting tickets booked.

Congrats, guys. You deserve to be in. So do we. No way that joke of an SEC gets 5 teams in. I would root for you to win it all, but some of you were idiots, taking shots at ND instead of the SEC. I likely won't watch. Who cares? The SEC stacked it, hoping to get a title, which they likely won't get anyway. Good luck guys. Not your fault the system is corrupt.
You know as well as anybody you’re at the top, or close to, the top of Canes fans hate list. That being said, y’all got hosed. No way 2 G5 teams should have gotten in over you.

Bama in is egregious.
Completely agree. I talked trash to ND fans for giving us a hard time. However, this is crazy. They pit ND against Miami as a smokescreen to get Alabama in. Disgusting. ND deserved to be in. Not over Miami, but 10,000% over Alabama. Not even a debate. At no point did Notre Dame look like a bad team this year. I mean Miami made them look bad, at times, but it was, in the end, a close game. Alabama looked like dog **** several times. It's just stupid they made it in over Notre Dame.

And here's the kicker. Why didn't Alabama drop to 10? Who wants to see an Alabama OU rematch? Miami OU would have been fun, and Texas A&M would get their shot at a conference opponent they didn't get to play this season. They really messed this up on purpose. They are guaranteed a second round game. Rigged.

We can both agree on this… bama with 3 losses and the worst loss of any playoff team to FSU on top of ending the season sputtering did not deserve a bid.

Idk if the SEC forced this to be an us or them and shy away from a 5th SEC team getting in with a weaker resume but it what it is

that is basically Notre Dame's season anyway

maybe they can add "Merchant Marine Academy" to playing Army, Navy and Air Force

Stanford, Cal, Boston College, Purdue, Michigan State

wow- so impressive Notre Dame!!
Take a look at their schedule for 2026. Joke. JV Football

ESPN reporting players were in utter disbelief, shock, and sadness. Freeman told players he has no answers and it doesn’t add up why they aren’t in. Said the rankings leading up to the final are a farce.
Also heard there was a lot of crying, and Freeman had to console his oline and tell them everything will be ok and prepared warm milk for them.

We were taking shots back because a large part of your fanbase was trying to gaslight the cfb world into thinking the h2h results didn't matter. Thankfully the cfb world shamed the committee into honoring the most important datapoint - the on the field result.
