That's why I say "do it" because they won't. They are just all in their feelings right now.Question being if they decide to go that route who's left to play beside G5's?
Notre Dame, bless their hearts, have looked like a good team all year. Alabama simply can not say the same thing, and their so called big wins, outside of the Georgia win, are simply SEC inflated SOS cannon fodder.Notre Dame shouldn't have an issue with Miami getting in over them. They should absolutely have an issue with what they did with Bama. I bet if Notre Dame played Bama today they would absolutely smoke them. Like everyone else has.
I don't know Mario on a personal level as I'm just a fan.
But I don't see him moving to another program in this stage of life, if not career.
I know, I know he left UM after a couple of weeks to coach at Alabama, but that was a ladder climbing/resume stuffer move.
Maybe I'm just projecting as I'm also an American of Cuban descent, but folks like Mario don't
leave Miami if you don't have to because of family and culture and, in his case, he is set for life.
Been trolling and hitting that troll, the marriage of the two was made in X heaven (or maybe ****, I don't know). You're both crazy.![]()

I think Mario has learned a valuable lesson this year. When you have the chance to blow teams out, take it. Don't play with your food. I fully expect to see a different approach from this day forward from him.A bunch have left Miami and regretted it. I see this CFP decision as a huge win in keeping him, as if they wouldn't have selected us, I see that as a wall he might have had to face.
I'm glad it isn't an issue now after today.
And hopefully his hospice nurse is a Canes fan and put that spit back in his Ensure…Somewhere Lou Holtz is spitting all over his tv

So their contention is this.
1. We want to remain independent.
2. If we expand to 14-16, we will automatically be in every year and still not have to hold ourselves to the scrutiny of being in a conference?
Just how arrogant can one organization be. They have done NOTHING in 30+ years, and their last ring was against West Virginia in a cheesy bowl configuration that didn't allow real competition to award a champion, that ring is considered one of the weakest outside of the Washington split in the last 50 years.
The media has propped up Notre Dame into something they are not. They are not worthy of being considered a championship contender year in and year out, even though they have had all the resources of the top ten in recruiting classes and other means.
They are the most delusional group of folks in all NCAA football.
