Trumpycane thinks if Brown doesn’t slip on that 3rd and 1 up 21-7 we probably roll
The importance of that single play to the trajectory of the game was palpable before the snap.

You could actually feel it shift to the stressful version of this game as soon as Brown slipped into Bell’s leg. Just as I have no doubt a 5-yard run would’ve put ND in a coffin.

You can tell when a fanbase doesn’t actually pay attention to other teams. This is some smooth brain ****. They need to be more worried about the fact they have to go undefeated now to hope for a playoff bid and still may not get it because they lost to the only real team on their schedule. Meanwhile they push NIU out of their minds completely. I doubt USC will be ranked and A&M looked like backed up sewage. I guess they didn’t see the part of the game where we’d have been up 3 scores if not for a slip.

I disagree. When Miami went up 21-0 it was way too early to go super conservative. The problem with that game is Syracuse adjusted their gameplan to take advantage of Miami tendencies and expose weaknesses. Cristobal and crew did not.
You can kill the clock and still be aggressive. Teams should either be in tempo or milking the clock, never in between. The rest of the offense should be hitting where they ain't regardless of the situation.

This post is funny. The pre game analysis gave no indication that Miami was so strong in the trenches. Yeah that's what happens when you listen to nothing but Homer's and refused to listen to the other side. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
DL not strong? Lmao it's full of highly recruited 4 and 5 stars. And Blay was coveted by NFL GMs.
