Miami is an investment. Once we start winning again the bigwigs will want to invest in our stock. Just wait on it.
Shut up Brock. It's not like these facilities are 20 years old.Kids want to use the best facilities, that aids in the recruiting pitch, you don’t want kids going to bama and then come to Miami and feel like it’s a second rate program after viewing its facilities do you? Keep pushing the envelope
I hope we only use it when necessary. We have a huge advantage with the heat. Obviously we can't do what we used to but remember these days:
It got some renovations a few weeks back, not sure of a complete overhaul but they added some things. Miami needs to overhaul the lockerroom and player lounge because it’s very dated compared to other programs. Even ga tech has a better ocker room than Miami and our immediate rivals FSU and uf will be getting new football operation facilities so we definitely need to keep up
And it still looks behind the times. We will never compete with the Oregon’s and Texas program for money but some of our facilities leave a lot to be desired

You want us to move our weight room outside?

This is what richt said a month prior to the season starting

The dorms are the real issue right now. Mahoney-Pearson needs a major facelift. Too bad the new dorms won't open until Fall 2020, but this class is all but baked. The Housing Village will rival anybody's. And Centennial Village is going to be unbelievable. Hate to see them drop the towers but it is what it is.
Did you not read your own fūcking post a couple of comments above this last one?
“we’re going to redo locker rooms and weight rooms. Everything in this program is being touched by facilities upgrade a brand new construction”
The fūck is wrong with you, Broke?
social media is changing everything, even this.
Yeah the the towers may have some sentimental value to some of us, but **** what they’re building is 1 million times better. They just need the space, and those towers have to go.
With the new dorms in that whole new area, which is definitely being built, in a couple of years our campus will rival, or be better, than anyone’s. It already was impressive with our beautiful location and being located in a million neighborhood like Coral Gables, but with the new construction nobody can say crap about facilities or the campus, ever
I'll miss the towers, but they were sht when I was there, and they're probably ultra-sht now.
We got a completely new lockerroom and lounge a few years ago.
Not replace..........update would be more like it, and less cost.....dorms, and IPF would complement this update...agreed.That locker room looks like it was build in the 90s. In all seriousness tho, our facilities outside of the IPF look outdated. There is no wow or cool factor about them. If you look at OU, Bama, Texas locker rooms there are large graphics, cool futuristic looking lockers, a over all sleek modern look. Ours looks like a very well off high school. The designs are very basic and practical. They knocked it out the park with the IPF.
I just want to know if we have bunk bed nap rooms like Clemson.
