More fan in the seats. That place is going to be loud. I got mind. Sec 343

10K more? Now they can see what hiring a real coach does for ticket sales. Stadium renos as well. You make a commitment to win and fans make a commitment to you. Darn shame it took them so long to figure this out.

340 here, Can.Not.Wait. My six year-old will be experiencing his first Canes game (other than the spring game).

Shalala was in office and you expect her to spend money to make a lot more?. What a POS

While I agree, the last two hires were all on her, but she DID want to hire Barry Alvarez at a crucial time for our program. She'd have been crucified by the fans had we hired him, but the program wouldn't have slipped the way it has had we hired him. Barry's a smart man and wouldn't have changed a heck of a lot. The BOT and AD were scared of the players and their feelings, and it **** near killed our program. They hired a buddy, not a coach, and you see what it did for us. As much as I'd like to lay it all on Shalala, I can't because of this. The players that walked in and demanded Coker be hired will always have the right to remain silent as far as I'm concerned.

As for Shalala, she will see us winning soon and will try to take credit for it. God help me if I hear her open her mouth about our success.

As bad as Coker was the facts are we won a championship with him and played for another. So I can live with the fact that they gave him the keys to the Porche. Now where UM really f*cked up was hiring his no head coaching experience DC Randy Shannon.. and worst the smuck Al Folden. If they would've just spent the money to bring in a real coaching staff after Coker we wouldn't have found ourselves in the abyss where Pastor Richt has to deliver us from.
