Iowa plans on opening athletic practices - including football - June 1

This COVID-19 will go down in history as one of the biggest, shamefully hyped, irrationally inflated, and outright deceptions in the field of human health.

It will soon enough be shown to be politically hoaxed by some so-called medical experts who have no business working in a drugstore as a cashier.

If you are gullible enough to believe all this crap - you may want to avoid having offspring - they'll be retarded too.

Cool story. Meanwhile, from TODAY:

The Trump administration projects about 3,000 daily deaths by early June.
As President Trump presses for states to reopen their economies, his administration is privately projecting a steady rise in the number of cases and deaths from the coronavirus over the next several weeks, reaching about 3,000 daily deaths on June 1, according to an internal document obtained by The New York Times, nearly double from the current level of about 1,750.

The projections, based on modeling by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and pulled together in chart form by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, forecast about 200,000 new cases each day by the end of the month, up from about 25,000 cases now.
The numbers underscore a sobering reality: While the United States has been hunkered down for the past seven weeks, not much has changed. And the reopening to the economy will make matters worse.

“There remains a large number of counties whose burden continues to grow,” the C.D.C. warned.
The projections confirm the primary fear of public health experts: that a reopening of the economy will put the nation right back where it was in mid-March, when cases were rising so rapidly in some parts of the country that patients were dying on gurneys in hospital hallways as the health care system grew overloaded.

“While mitigation didn’t fail, I think it’s fair to say that it didn’t work as well as we expected,” Scott Gottlieb, Mr. Trump’s former commissioner of food and drugs, said Sunday on the CBS program Face the Nation. “We expected that we would start seeing more significant declines in new cases and deaths around the nation at this point. And we’re just not seeing that.”

On Sunday, Mr. Trump said deaths in the United States could reach 100,000, twice as many as he had forecast just two weeks ago. But his new estimate still underestimates what his own administration is now predicting to be the total death toll by the end of May — much less in the months that follow. It follows a pattern for Mr. Trump, who has frequently understated the impact of the disease.

My Uncle Vito loves COVID. In fact, several dudes who crossed him recently coincidentally died of COVID.

You inadvertantly left this out of your quote:

“This is not a White House document nor has it been presented to the Coronavirus Task Force or gone through interagency vetting,” said Judd Deere, a White House spokesman. “This data is not reflective of any of the modeling done by the task force or data that the task force has analyzed.”

Hmmmm....Who to trust? A "bimbo" at Johns Hopkins, one of the most prestigious medical facilities in this great country, or a kook on a message board, who was hunting Big Foot last year and believes in dog men? I choose Farchie!

I've never hunted a bigfoot in my life. Not one day, not one night, not one hour, not one minute.

I've never seen a dog man - but I'll admit - some others have claimed to - for millennia. You can see the references since written history - but it wasn't from me.

But that was a nice try - complete lies

Why do you have to lie about something to change the narrative - when you're getting your *** kicked on a single topic?

You going for two? Three topics?

Maybe you just need a nap. Under an oxygen tent.

Trump is letting the "Experts" do their thing - and he's prudently taking their advice - since they're the experts.

The higher they project - and the lower the reality - the greater Trump looks when this thing peters out here in the next couple weeks - and he returns growth and a financial recovery - his SECOND recovery - all before the end of November.

He knows what's going on.

This is absurd and runs contrary to the progression of the virus all over the world. I hope we do start seeing 200k new cases per day. The sooner we see that, the sooner we develop herd immunity.

I didn't inadvertently leave anything out.

"The projections, on two slides of a 19-slide deck, are dated May 1 and attributed to a “data and analytics task force.” The document carries the seal of both the Health and Human Services Department and the Homeland Security Department."

But because isn't hasn't been filtered through a political operation that's been falling all over itself with self-serving contradictions you want to dismiss it. Cool.

Well, this just dropped. A second projection. Hold on, let me go make some popcorn while you drool all over your "maid en china" MAGA hat trying to spin this one away too, lol

The University of Washington forecast has been horrendous from the get go.

So what do you suggest? How long exactly should we stay in lockdown?

Then you purposefully failed to quote the entire article which, as usual, buried the actual truth further down

If I had the real answer, I’d be a failed businessman and a rapist. So wait...

Honestly? We knew. We had everything we needed to know. We could have shown the world how to take this thing down. Instead we fumbled and fumbled and lied and drowned out the voice of science and here we are. If we had reacted in early February we’d be in decent shape.
We’ve don’t everything wrong. It’s documented. We all know this. If some want to defend the admins actions, we’ll god bless their angry little hearts.

Now, 250k - 1M are going to die this year here. Remember a guy on a football website said it. Good night.
