In looking at the 2021 season, there were 157 "foreign" (which includes Canada) players on the 68 NCAA Tourney teams. The biggest global representation is to be found on UCSB (7), Oral Roberts (6), Syracuse (6), Utah St (6), Gonzaga (5), Illinois (5), Oklahoma (5), Grand Canyon (5), Hartford (5), and Iona (5).

Miami is truly an international city, a city known worldwide (unlike, say, Spokane or Waco, or Ann Arbor). It is a destination that international travelers want to check out! Given that, and the talent the teams above are making great use of, why aren't we more active in Canada and abroad? Especially since we seem to have so much trouble recruiting in this country.

Abroad, in-state recruiting.
Just another missed opportunity by this coaching staff.
