Interior Offensive Line Positions

I'd like to keep Miller at Dt, I've read where his first step is really good and if the run d will be anything like I saw against Wisky with no Willis then we'll need his big @SS to plug up some holes and take up space.

I've heard it's possible scaife can be moved inside at LG if campbell, hillery, or brown impresses at right tackle. Interested to see how Barry sees the puzzle fitting together.

They better hope to **** T. Kennedy at LT Works out then...I liked the take, but he's not a lock to adjust to the advanced comp. imo.

Unless there's a huge change in his body and technique with a new staff, I'm not sure I even want Donaldson starting

Agreed.

Kennedy / Scaife / Gaynor / Reed / Campbell honestly wouldn't shock me unless money becomes a motivator for 55.

Lost: T. Gauthier, H. Mahoney, J. Jones, V. Boulware, B. Milo

Returning: N. Donaldson, C. Gaynor, C. Reed, Z. Hillery, Z. Dykstra, J. Griffith

Added: J. Clark

Maybe Adam El Gammal gets a look at guard.

Get ready for my curve ball...

Jordan Miller # 91 in your programs should get a look at OG.

DT is looking pretty solid with Nnoruka, Bethel, Ford, Silvera, Holley, Blissett, Hunte.

Miller is almost sure to get passed by the more athletic DTs that Simpson appears to covet, and we're in pretty desperate need of help at OG.

Jeremy Lewis, Damond Neely, Robert Hall...it's worked before.

If nothing else maybe Miller could become the next Freeman Brown or Ricky Perry.

Miller is needed to play NT(1 tech) in our defense....

Vince Wilfork, Damian Lewis, Cortez Kennedy, William Joseph, and Jerome Brown all say different st at 300lbs+. Not to mention we just had a 300lb All American DT.

C'mon on man learn the history an show the big boys there just dues..

Go Canes
You're acting like 300 lbs is big for a DT. When I say big guys, I'm talking about mammoth, space eating nose tackles. The only one who fits that description in college was Wilfork. I don't think any of the other players you mentioned played at 300 lbs at Miami.

Don't ever try to lecture me on history.

Edit: Damione Lewis played at 295
I couldn't find Cortez Kennedy's college playing weight but he was listed at 305 while with the Seahawks.
William Joseph was listed at 297
Jerome Brown was listed at 292 with the Eagles
Gerald Willis was listed at 285 by UM but probably played closer to 295.

The only writing here is what's written on the wall by Simpson recruiting 3 DTs and adding a grad transfer.

Something's gotta give with 5 interior O-linemen departing and just one incoming.

This is super alarming: N. Donaldson, C. Gaynor, C. Reed, Z. Hillery, Z. Dykstra, J. Griffith

Who is J Griffith?

So as I said 300lbs after they had breakfast, thanks for proving my point. My man point is Miami has had big men in the middle our defenses, but the huge difference is they were big men that could move like little men. I believe Jerome brown used to run track, don't quote on that. An I think there was a video of big Vince running back a kick off /punt. An those are very rare abilities. Cortez Kennedy was known as the dancing bear.

Go Canes

Assuming Jordan Miller isn't the next great Miami DT -- what's the harm in giving him a look at OG and see if it takes?

Our fanbase acts like we have no talent on the o-line. There are schools that would DIE for Donaldson, Scaife, & Reed. They’d actually celebrate. Calm down & let our new o-line coach do his job.
