I haven’t seen an analysis of how non conference refs call our games but our reputation absolutely precedes us. Attend any away game - in conference or not - and it’s like you’re at a playoff game.
 
I’m beginning to fncking hate watching this sport for the way officiating weighs in on the outcome every week, and the way we are teeth baring pit bulls running up to the game then just shouldering our opponents and cowering with a meow…

I also wonder if the gambling arrests past day or two touches CFB officiating. There’s got to be an explanation for the outright criminal calls we have been subjected to, other than bias and shooting ourselves in the foot.
 
We stop the dead ball penalties and we are 8-1 instead of 7-2.

Biggest problem for me - dead ball penalties plus Mario/Mirabal not pulling dudes when they commit multiple dead ball fouls.

Idc if it’s CiCi or if it’s the Center from TCU - pull them when they do it and let them sit for a series. Guys value playing time and it will fix it more than “you owe me such and such at practice on Monday”

Refs should be full time employees.

Have to give press conferences Monday morning after game.

They should have a performance based component of their compensation based on "missed calls" or lack thereof

The "missed calls" for each game should be made public as well as the calls (apparently there is a 10 max) that each team calls into question after a game

There should be an equivalent of PFF for refs. Percentage of missed calls, length of game, etc...

Alberto Riveron is head of the ACC officials. He’s a former NFL official & served as head of officiating for the NFL prior to taking job 3 years ago. He’s responsible for all aspects including supervision, hiring, training, reviews etc.

ACC officials recently acknowledged that they made a mistake in the ND/BC game that was advantageous to BC (face mask penalty). ND went on to win the game but if the game had been close it could have made a difference.
 
It's Amari Carter's fault. Refs have a whole reservoir of penalties they could have called against him but didn't, so they call them on future Amari Carterless Miami teams.

Gulag the refs.

Accept that it's rigged and move on.

I'd be shocked beyond words if gambling wasn't heavily involved in the way our games are officiated. I'd bet it goes up to the ACC offices as well, because they HAVE to see what is being done to us on a **** near weekly basis. Connect the dots. Follow the money.

This 1000%. We ***** and moan about the refs hating us but the real difference this year is the numerous pre snap penalties. We’ve also had some calls go our way this year and last year that quite frankly, we’d be screaming at the top of our lungs if it was reversed.

With all that said, refs are terrible as a whole and something needs to change.

It's amazing that we've been so mild for actual decades, yet the perception persists. The funniest part is when they're recruiting him he's cool, but when he signs with us he's a "thug".
