BingoHe doesn't make any calls. He doesn't do anything. He is supposed to make calls and audibles and do everything else that a 5th year senior would normally know how to do, but he doesn't.

The type of insight that most fan bases don’t have or present with. More proof that the “common fan...” comments are BS when it comes to Canes fans. Here's one interesting hint that we might be making a switch at quarterback. Might be something, might be nothing, but interesting regardless.
Apparently, Tyler Gauthier is going to start calling protections for the offense going forward. Officially, we're doing it to get better at blitz pickups, since that was obviously an issue on Sunday.
But.... if you want to have a freshman start for you at QB, taking that responsibility off the QB's shoulders is one big thing you can do to bring him along more quickly. Previously, our veteran Malik Rosier had been making those calls. That's one of those things you can rely on a veteran QB to do, but not usually a rookie.
So it's interesting because if we were going to make a change, this is one thing that would have been a precursor, and now it's happening.
Something to chew on.
I saw Boulware in the game early and often in relief of Jahair Jones. I’m not an oline dude but I think he was pretty sturdy.Gotta say, i blame our OL coach for not being able to teach these guys the fundamentals of the game. Even if you never saw certain blitzes on film, the rule is to block the interior guy first, as it'll take a longer for the Edge guy to get there, compared to a defender up the gut...
We need to make some changes, and if I had to predict anything, the Left side of the line looked the worst.
We aren't benching St Louis, though he's guilty of a few errors... Who else is on the left side? None other than the guy i have no faith in, # 77.
I wouldnt mind Gaynor taking over at Center, with Guathier at LG.

Interesting take! I hope you are right. I thought it was a weakness on the coaches part to make this change now rather than 6 months ago. But if it implies a new QB, I'm all in!Here's one interesting hint that we might be making a switch at quarterback. Might be something, might be nothing, but interesting regardless.

This. Pretty please with whip cream and rainbow sprinkles on top. Preferably JW, but I'll take the other 2 as well.Interesting take! I hope you are right. I thought it was a weakness on the coaches part to make this change now rather than 6 months ago. But if it implies a new QB, I'm all in!
Obviously. They were constantly in his face due to wrong formations.Do we know if Rosier has been making the wrong calls on blitz pickup?
Allowing the center to point out a blitz, the ML and signal slides in protection is commonplace. However, removing that responsibility entirely from the QB indicates deep communication/trust issues and in no way, under sane and normal circumstances, should the QB be removed from the process.
Protection calls are built in to the QB's play call and the center often modifies at the los, prior to snap. If what you're saying is true, they're in gargantuan trouble.

Can you go into more detail on this?
so we learned how to block today.......cool
