Interesting stat on Oregon’s O-line

yeah Mario took all their crap w us here lol.

they also run a very different offense under dillingham than did they under Mario
He left the cupboard full. That roster is stacked top-to-bottom.

If he is willing to adapt philosophically and bring in good players via recruiting and the portal, then we’ll turn this around. The question is, will fans be patient enough to let him burn this thing to the ground first? The answer is no.

they brought in a new QB, new RB, but I would agree the roster isnt barren. I would also I dont believe ours is as barren as were making it out to be either. Oregon fans grew plenty impatient w Mario. they literally have scored 40+ more times under this new staff than Marios entire Oregon career. Lanning changed everything bout them coaching wise and they're better for it. thats the biggest issue though. why is it that lanning can turn a ****** au QB into a guy leading a high powered offense each week w some of the same guys that couldn't w the previous staff? are we ever gonna turn a corner. I dont doubt Mario will improve the talent base. its his only quality thats worth any portion of the 80 mill. will he use it to their potential or under utilize it? remember, Oregon installing a new offense literally had one subpar game against the nations best team in Atlanta nd then never looked back. its not like theyre running the same offense w the same concepts from Marios time. I was told that it takes to do new installs. ****, look at TCU w dykes.

Right, that’s why I said he needs to adapt philosophically. If he doesn’t, we’re screwed. Regardless, he’s going to need 3 years to restructure this program. The culture and stench of losing needs to be cleansed.

And it doesn’t matter if people disagree because he’s not going anywhere anytime soon. People can bytch and moan all they want, but nothing changes what I just said.

if he were a new coach thats on his first gig (Lanning), I would lean yes. at this point, Marios coached for 10 years. he believes in what he believes and hes stubborn. he talked about in his pressers. I dont think **** change what he thinks works in 2022 and beyond bc it worked in 1940. I think we just have to hope we get Bama/UGA level classes stacked on each other where we can literally do nothing to fail.

This thing is burned down to the ground… lol let’s be real if you’re a fan of this team still you’ve seen 1 10win season in almost 20 years… 1 bowl win In that same time

Just shut the fuggg up because fans ain’t going anywhere… if mario can’t bring it back up then we are truly Nebraska south and we can just accept it and rewatch old tapes

we thought ND was that and then hired a good coach in BK who got them to title games and playoffs. thats w their academic standards that limits their recruiting. also, yes to your fan point. no one is beating down the door to be a canes fan lol.

They got rid of the anchor that was keeping them down. Mario leaving was like removing a hemorrhoid for that offense

Naaa I think there are plenty of coaches that could bring us back. The last time we had a decent (but burnt out) coach we made it to a NY6 bowl game. Saying if Mario can’t bring us back then we are Nebraska Is not the case.

After nearly 20 years they still haven’t learned. It’s insanity. Have to remind myself that most these guys are just fanatics and don’t really know what it takes to build a team and program. Loud, obnoxious, celebrate every win like it’s the nc and complain about every loss that everyone should be fired.

Hendon Hooker is another kid that wasn’t exactly lightly the world on fire at VT. Now he looks really good at Tenn. it sure helps to have better talent around you as a QB especially upfront.
