Tate's best choice would be to go to Nebraska and play for Scott Frost. He would own the Big10.

We are so far under the scholarship limit, you take him. Then you create packages for him. You do not pass up a play maker like that.
 
Living in Tucson I have seen him play a lot. He can throw the ball just fine. For those looking at his total passing yards as a bad thing the kid barely played in the first 4 games of the season and it took the starter Dawkins getting hurt for him to come in. Richrod totally screwed up not playing Tate a lot earlier this season which ****ed off the local fans. He also burned his redshirt due to lack of depth and was thrown into the fire against USC last year while I think he was still 17 years old. UofAs WR corps is a joke minus one kid which is why they ran so much and most teams couldn't stop it so why pass. He is an electric runner with a cannon for arm but is lacking touch. He was recruited by a lot of programs out here. USC wanted him as a RB. He is still young so he makes some bad decisions but he will go through his progressions. He would have hit those passes in Pitt no problem. Is he better than Perry or Williams? I don't know but he is light years ahead of Rosier in every department.
 
If he came here, good defenses would stack the box and make us beat them with his arm, which is questionable. Sounds a lot like this season. Rosay 2.0

IF he wanted in, I think you have to take him.

No one should feel comfortable at any position on our roster.

Make each and every one of those QBs fight harder than ever.
 
No doubt, this guy HAS to be better than Evan Sherrifs. Likely better than Rosier. I have no idea if he is better than Perry or Williams. Having said that, he would have to accept there is competition at his position. I don't know if he comes here vs. a different school with 0 competition.

The day of our ND game some were declaring this guy the best player in CFB.
Then defenses figured him out.

Here's his rushing stats over the last 3 games:
Oregon- 14/32 yds
ASU- 8/28 yds
Perdue-20/58 yds

PASS.

Come on arizonacane you out of anyone should know what a game changer tate is. If a heisman frontrunner was transferring, wouldn't you want him, especially when the two QBS we're banking on to be good/great haven't played a down of college football? This guy led arizona to an overachieving year by himself and he turned 19 halfway through the season so he's far from a finished product.

I agree and I don't think he would come here with our depth chart but if he wanted to you make room imo. I'm probably overthinking this but in the tweet he mentioned 3 coaches from the state of Florida, so maybe this guy knows that he would have interest in a Florida school if he was transferring? He could just be listing 3 offensive minded coaches at random but those 3 wouldn't be the first three names I'd think of for coaches who would be interested in Tate.
