Why would you throw a quick out with underneath zone then? Why was he trying to rush the throw?

He will. You know as of now we have 1 safety as the only 1 efficient enough to be counted on in coverage. With the blitz packages we use the safetys primary role as of now is simply ensuring we dont get beat deep. We have a few more chips in the deck now where he can get creative with his coverages cause people are finally competent. Only so much jaquan could do on his own.

Right but Jaquan should be a beast this year... praying he's healthy. Diaz should have them studying lots of film cause the elite teams have very effectively creative offenses that we need to try to predict or counter.

No he didn't. It was a double-slant combo, which is a Cover-2 beater. (we were in Cover-2)

They threw that exact pass earlier in the game and the #1 WR was wide open. They tried to throw it again and Bandy jumped underneath the outside slant.

It's easy to say "You should stay in Miami, the money isn't important", when it's not your future on the line. Diaz may love being in Miami, but if a high level, stable program offers him money Miami can't hope to match, then he may jump at it. People forget that an additional 500k on a contract can be many times that, if you have a competent financial advisor. That said, I think that Diaz knows he's in line for the job when Richt retires, and can sit back and continue to run the D, and get good money in the process.

If it’s inevitable that he leaves then that’s not a bad scenario.

Hate to disagree but i really doubt manny gets this job whenever richt retires... #ducklife yall feel free to cuss me out. Just lets say a strong feeling
