Interesting perspective on Canes

Offense under TVD: 34.4 points per game. Defense: 33.8

We're winning by less than a point on average. Nobody fears that.

Different perspective - TVD didn't play in 3 games and yet we have the #24 offense in the country with an OL that is average at best. Imagine if we had a legit offensive guru like Kiffin as HC next year. I think we would easily have a top 10 offense. Everyone says, "Oh so we will just be Oklahoma" like it's a bad thing. F#ck yeah I would take being Oklahoma.

That 34.4 points is from UVA until now. All TVD, all P5.

There is a whole lot of room for improvement, but when you use quality ingredients, the recipe turns out better.

You would think that Manny would see the evolution of TVD and use this same theory on other players. The more reps TVD got, the better he got. I would love to play UVA and UNC over again with this version of TVD. (Especially UVA. We dog walk those clowns if we played them now) He is gaining more confidence every week. Posters are waiting for the inevitable game where he cant hit the broad side of a barn but I dont see that happening in the next 3 games. Maybe the bowl game he has a slip up.

That said, reps have been the key to TVDs growth. REPS Manny!!! You cant really know how good some of these kids are until you give them REPS! Guys like TAC, Chase Smith, Huff, Thad, Cody B..Give them reps and let them get there feet under them. Using practice solely as the basis for playing time doesnt work in every scenario. Its crazy to think that if Manny wasnt forced to take King out of the game against Mich State that King would still be out there chugging along at 50% health like the soldier he is and TVD would be on the bench with Manny telling us "he doesnt know the playbook well enough yet/consistancy in every facet of preparation is what we are looking to see from TVD/he needs to form better practice habits/hes not ready yet, blah blah blah". Smh. What a joke.

Y’all don’t want to see it, but most National people have observed that we punished GT on Saturday, just had some absurdly dumb luck with the TOs. Bud Elliott, noted Miami hater, made it a point on the Cover 3 podcast today to highlight how badly UM dominated them on both sides of the ball.

The defense is not suddenly good, or even average, but they did play a decent enough game to win by 10-14 points. It just didn’t happen.

LOL... you assume these trolls are actually watching Miami games.

That was Miami's largest yard differential against a GT team ever.
