If Diaz woulda loaded up on transfers this year to cover up his **** recruiting on the D side of the ball we coulda been a contender (shout out to banda for the only dude working on that side)

Hopefully his ego doesnt block him this offseason and he sees what Mich St and FSU did by not having egos and saying we need a total overhaul.. Of course it would be good to see him bounce but admin aint firing him if we win out..

Ego block Diaz offseason? He’s not coaching here post season hopefully and he wastes tyrique talent in his soft no press zone. His d only works with elite de’s. Soft zone coverage sprinkled with delayed safety blitz’s with little pass rush from front 4 isn’t making us a contender for anything but acc championship.


His coaching is terrible. Should have been fired at half time vs nc st. He’s not a good coach because TVD turned out to be the best qb in the acc imo
 
We’ll, it’s one perspective. I look at it this way, the young kids are playing their hearts out, even with the horrible coaching they’re getting. These kids have shown they can muster a W at the end of these last few games, even after playing ugly against GT. I don’t know about scared, but this would, and should get any team on the schedule to at least sit up and pay attention. Says nothing about Mandy.

There are several sites they try to correlate the percentage of winning when it comes to number of turnovers. The one I saw came up with only an 18% chance of winning if you turned the ball over 3 times.

However we also turned the ball over on downs twice. That’s technically a turnover and means the number of turnovers was actually 5.
And that means we had a zero percent chance of winning that game from just a statistical standpoint

I'm normally a huge fan of your takes, Inday. But in this case, you're right, I don't see it.

Ga Tech was one of the worst 3rd down teams in the country (ranked 114 at 32.3%). But against Manny's defense, they converted 8 of 20 third downs and 1 or 2 fourth downs. The reason our time of possession was so low is we just couldn't get off the field. The defense is not only not suddenly good or even average, as you say, they also didn't play decent when you consider how BAD Georgia Tech offense is.

The only thing saving Manny's defense from being humiliated is our weak schedule.
 
The amount of disrespect for our team from our own fans is ironic. Who needs a canestears thread when We have a canestears board full of negative threads? Most of you all beg for positive pr and ***** and moan when they say bad things about us. Someone said something good and you ridicule them.

Having been going to games since 1989 I suffer more than many of you with this mediocrity or whatever you want to call it. I’m just not going to beat a dead horse right now in the middle of a three game winning streak and about to play our biggest rival.
