Interesting comments in pressers..

All I have to say is that any comment suggesting we need more talent to beat Middle Tennessee State University (who lost to James Madison 44-7), is just… I don’t know. I can’t even articulate my thoughts on that humiliating loss. And that’s what it was, humiliating.

All I can hope is that they’re smart enough to roll with Jake and the team rallies behind him (wishful thinking) short-term, and long-term hope that Mario and staff can eradicate whatever awful parasite is still eating this program from the inside. However, quite honestly it’s looking as bleak as ever.

Nahhhhh fucckkk all that slime. 3-4 to own the conference and beat top teams. We don’t need that to beat MTSU
you shouldn't but TVD handed them 10 to start the game. Then the D got burnt because of DBs don't know how to switch in coverage and bam is 17-3. This team will get better with Garcia IMO. But this situation we have at WR is a problem. Only 6 healthy WRs once C goes down shows how thin our roster is on the offensive side. Hopefully we can upgrade the WR room with this class and portal kids because lord knows the ones we have ain't it

We knew this all along , I literally said when we hired him the negatives were game day coaching and his offenses will likely be an issue. When he hired Gattis I instantly remembered @Liberty City El opinions.
Idk if you can share this, and I think I know the answer but...was Gattis his plan all along? Did we ever seriously entertain an offensive mind that has ran or is currently running an explosive offense?

I know we had smokescreens early on, but it really did get hazy at one point as to what was real and what wasn't.

Just got off the phone with my high school friend who is a parent of one of the players. The wrs hate TVD, they hate the scheme the reason why Tvd didn't have their numbers is because they were all talking with Garcia and Brown. The chemistry is super off with Tvd. Him and Strepo are pretty much attached at the hip.

I don’t know if you’re bullsh*tting or not, but that would actually line up pretty accurately with what we’ve seen so far this season.

We have a parasite that's been in this program for the better part of 18 years. It's not going to be fixed overnight. Recruiting is the cure. Every program that's worth something today had a rock-bottom bleak moment. This loss is inexcusable, and it needs to be a turning point.

Cmon bruh. The defense gave up 45 points to this team. 10 points. Isn’t an insurmountable lead. This loss isn’t on a team being 3-4 years away. This loss is on coaching

I didn’t expect it to be fixed overnight, but none of that **** can explain getting blown out by ******* MTSU. None of it. Final score makes it look better than it really was, because this one felt as bad if not worse than FIU. They’re not even a good G5 team.

Player said they tell TVD every day to get out of his own head, and said the team just thought they were going to win and didn't get up for this game.. so I have a couple questions. If TVD has been bad in practice then why haven't they gave Jake the ball sooner? Also Mario sounds crushed. Like I said we have to get this roster clear of the Manny kids before we hang our Head Coach.. Everything that could've gone wrong this season has. TVD gave them 10 points to start. Mallory might be the most overrated player on this team and WRs are bad but we knew this.. The lack of quality depth Diaz left this roster on offense is baffling.
This game was about will and pride, or the lack thereof. Do we have less depth than Middle Tennessee?? We were unprepared, apathetic, and soft. Every hit of theirs was with bad intentions. Their ball-carriers were hitting our defenders, instead of the other way around. Their QB had the ability & presence of mind to audible at the line and throw a playaction bomb over our heads for a TD, ...for the fourth time! In this game, the disparity was heart, not talent.

LOL wrong. He had one of his highest rated wr transfer

Straight from the horses mouth. He transferred bc he wasn't being utilizes properly.

From the article .....

The Ducks are certainly a run-heavy team, averaging 38 attempts per game, compared to 28 passes per game. Only one player had more than 500 yards receiving, and only four players had more than 300 yards receiving, one of whom was a running back
Okay, you got me there. But, I was referring to transferring after Mario left. Like the WR that followed Riley to USC.

Thanks for the fact check though!

We could hire Saban and if we lost a game yall would say "coaching". At what point do you hold the players accountable? Coaches can coach all day and night but it's up to the ones with cleats in the ground to get it done.

TVD is worse than the fan base thinks and the WRs are not as bad. They are not Miami elite but they are not bad. Jake will give them an opportunity to make plays with his ball placement.
So all the drops and wrong routes was a figment of our imagination ? They tried putting it all the on wr’s now we’ll throw it all on the qb. It’s everything.

TVD is definitely fraudulent but the WRs are still pretty bad. It's amazing Ke'Shawn has so much burst on kickoffs and yet can't seem to get open for his life as a WR.

Garcia will make it better imo...but we better score on 40-50 yd plays lol; as soon as we get into the red zone, Gattis defecates all over himself.

The WRs aren’t great either, but yes they were getting more flak than what they probably had earned. A few of the “drops” against A&M were poorly thrown balls and there were plenty of people trying to warn everyone else about how bad TVD was. Yet a LOT of people continued to ignore it and place all blame on WRs.

Couldn’t ignore it today. 100% the WRs still need to improve, but they certainly didn’t look as bad once a QB came in throwing catchable balls (except Mallory, of course). Wasn’t perfect but it was his first real play, and an embarrassingly bad situation he came into at that.
