Interesting comments in pressers..

Coaches suck.
Players suck.
We just lost to MTSU. There is absolutely nothing good about this program right now.
Our receivers are afraid to actually go catch a ball. Seriously even with Garcia in Mallory and the 2 Smiths all let balls get knocked down instead of going for them.
Our qb cant throw accurately for 5 yard passes. Both qbs.
Our dbs want to press/man but are afraid to touch receivers at the line.
Our LB the qb of the defense seems to always pick wrong gap or take wrong angle.
Our OC seems to try to bring more defenders into the box before running up the gut.
Our DC played zero coverage after each long td, again and again.
Our rbs fumble alot.
Our oline got pushed around by a g5 school.

No one wants to flat out blame TVD because he gave us a thrill in a horrible season last year.

But this isn’t last year.

He absolutely just went out there and gave us a Jarren Williams, Malik Rosier performance and gutted the teams confidence from the first (and 2nd) offensive snap.

TVD’s poor performance was not because of Mario, Gattis, The OL or the WR. It was because of TVD. But I’m still a fan of his and hope he turns it around.

A $12M staff should have the ability to make average players better OR have the balls to sit them and play guys they can make better.

We can use the talent excuse all we want - the argument falls flat when you struggle with Southern Miss and get punched in the face 2 weeks later by MTSU. You should be able to smoke them with backups.

This is my biggest concern with Mario. I understand not wanting to ruin your QBs confidence but there’s no reason he should’ve gone out there after the pick six. None. The only way he could’ve possibly started worse was two pic sixes. Give Jake the ball and see what happens.

This isn’t all true, they are Mannys players and we hit the portal and got some of the best players we could because of the **** manny left us, but some of those portal guys are just depth guys.

This on a million. None of the losers give themselves snaps. The coaches do. We know these guys suck. They’ve been bad for years. Year 17 isn’t gonna be the year they blossom. Learn to identify bad players and cut your losses quick.

Hard to argue any of those statements

You can actually see that during the game in the stands. When Garcia took them down the field and scored the whole team got up and actually woke the fans up as well. Garcia looks like a leader. But TVD tool all the energy out of the building with his 2 lay up INTs the first 2 plays

If TVD has been bad in practice then why haven't they gave Jake the ball sooner? Also Mario sounds crushed. Like I said we have to get this roster clear of the Manny kids before we hang our Head Coach.. Everything that could've gone wrong this season has. TVD gave them 10 points to start. Mallory might be the most overrated player on this team and WRs are bad but we knew this.. The lack of quality depth Diaz left this roster on offense is baffling.

We have to let Mario get his own guys. If it's the same **** in year 3 then yeah we got a problem.
