Interesting Bama Scrimmage Note

Will Anderson Jr., I believe, will be the Defensive POY and 1st team AA this year and top 5 pick in the NFL draft next year. But he put his pants on this morning just like every Miami player did this morning. Have some pride for yourself, your team and your family. Like my old coach used to say to me, "It's time to get some blood in yer eye" and whip his *** one way or another.

This game feels like Alabama is going to be in a lot of press coverage and our DNA on defense these days is Nickle about 90% of the time. The red zone will tell the tale. I wouldn't be surprised to see Miami move the ball inside the 20s. But the money zone is hard when teams run out of space and it really takes a team dedicated to a physical run game to consistently score TDs instead of kicking field goals. In this day of spreads, everyone seems to move the ball, but the last 20 yards is often the difference.

Yeah I'd test Davis out more than jobe since he's way less expierenced. I'd still go after jobe too. I think it's the weakest spot on Alabama's defense. We need to make plays against them. Then maybe we'll be able to run a little. The red zone is definitely going to be a place where we keep you guys in check running and hold our own in offense. We've struggled in that area. With our bigger guards and expierenced rbs we need to get solid yards. More 3-4 yard carries and less 1-2 yard carries and break a couple explosive runs
 
Just like the majority of folks on here with a hint of common sense and respect for recent history, I too believe that the tide has simply too much depth for our canes to overcome.
Having said that I also have to give credence to my many years on this planet as a cane and overall football fan. The conviction and determination that brought ring #1 into our history is the same pedigree that can lift this experienced, determined team to a level not seen in 20 yrs. I do believe that if the stars align with a great game plan, smart coaching, and an overwhelming load of heart from the players we will not only make it a game, we may just shock the world.
Having said that it would not surprise me if our canes press on to accomplish even bigger things in kings last year.
That's what makes this season such a blast

1. That’s what they r supposed to say. Their total IQ combined over there is probably 15.

2. If this score actually happens, I might take an unplanned trip to Miami to kick Diaz & Diaz in their nuts.
