Interesting article on Feely's game day prep

For years, I can’t remember entering the gym without having some injury. I’ve learned to prepare my body prior to my workout EVERY day I workout. It’s literally changed my life. I spend about thirty minutes before each workout doing bar lifts and light weights along with a TON of stretching. I engage each muscle group and the specific muscles I’m targeting before I start my programmed workout. I’m hopefully going to be 100% in my shoulder and bicep for the first time in over a year before Christmas. I can’t speak to the impact it has on in game performance, but it will prevent injury and ALL of my lifts are better and I’m lifting heavier. Thanks for posting.

Totally agree. Injured my rotator cuff once and when I got back to 100 % I approached lifting with much more warmup and preparation. It lead to no more injuries and increased strength over time.

Did you have surgery to repair it?

Good stuff.
I would add though the team needs some caffeine or a legal stimulant to get their asses going in the 1 st quarter.
Does Feely know the answer to sleep walking through the first quarter.
If he does he needs to get moving, because this sleep walking is what has got us in a heap of steaming dog sh** in all our games this year.
Looking for, and in dire need................. for an answer, or antidote.

"Everything done in here or out there, there's a very serious reason behind it," he said. "Nothing's done on a whim. That's not allowed at a place like this."

It's good to know that JW was not chosen starter on a whim.

No, it was just a bad strain thankfully. I rested, iced it consistently, and used a TENS therapy device which helped a lot. I was back to normal in 5 weeks I'd say but it took a couple months to rebuild my strength in the gym.

Just announce that the next time we come out flat - we're going to amphetamine suppositories prior to the game - and this huge, ham-fisted ex-con will be the "crammer" to ensure quality control.
