Amen.
This is why I never *****ed about RJ & Norton, Kayaa leaving etc.
The U made itself by being on the cutting edge of trends and being a first mover.
Instead of complaining about all these kids leaving early, embrace it and learn to use it as your competitive advantage.
It's nice to have kids stay for 5 years, but we should recruit as if we expect every kid to only be here for 3. That way we never get caught flat-footed and only recruit the best. Elite teams anyway should already be reloaded by then as well, so really no excuses.
Or when people complain about lack of variety in the routes our receivers run. You can only run the stuff your quarterback is capable of running. It ain't play station."Coaches are cognizant not to throw the kitchen sink at their young quarterbacks. Herman said trying to strip away some responsibilities -- such as calling protections or sending receivers in motion -- helps minimize the mental load.
"You try to eliminate as much of that in-game processing that's not from snap to whistle," Herman said. "You try to take as much of that off their plate as you can."

When people ask why the offense doesn't have more motion and window dressing...![]()
Perry was not even close to ready. He did not even begin to learn to read defenses before stepping on campus. That gave him no shot regardless of how well he could throw a football. I agree Rosier could've benefited by being legitimately pushed, we just didn't have anyone to do it.I just have a hard time believing that elite qb recruits are willing to sit for a year given the sheer number of programs out there (even a QB from Wyoming can go high in the draft!)
I think part of the problem last year was that Rosier had no one pushing him because Richt wasn't going to burn Perry's shirt. I think he should have played Perry a little to at least see what he was working with and also to make Rosier earn it each week.

The fact that CMR and CJR chased out both Kaaya & Allison, yet cannot even groom a QB to be better than Malik Rosier is pretty disheartening. James Coley 1000x better than CJR. Sucks our program is a vicitim of nepotism again, even after all we went through with Golden and Dnofrio!
