Interesting and ominous observation

He'd be running a **** of a lot for a guy worried about his knee.

It's clear as day Manny screwed up ANOTHER coordinator hire. Lashlee honestly makes me long for the days of James Coley, who I hated almost as much as Blake James.
Something is wrong with Lashlee. Take yourself back to last year’s FSU game. No way a man his age can cognitively regress that much naturally in a period of a year. He’s calling plays like he’s getting blasted with a radio frequency weapon all game.

Listen to yourself. Take yourself back to an example of a below average coordinator having success against a BAD TEAM.

Talk to me about Lashlee ever since those first 3-4 games of last season. Talk to me about Lashless against opponents with a heartbeat. I'm not even talking about Bama. Pretend Bama never happened.

I actually don't think team chemistry is a problem. Teams that don't click, they give up and it shows on the field. I haven't seen them appear to be quitting at all in either game. We've seen that some through the years.
Kind of early to quit after just 2 games.Let's see what happens if they lose 3 or 4 times.

I noticed some of the bad body language. After a failed run play, KING visibly threw his hands up in frustration.

Listening to King comments after the Bama loss, and Lashlee's comments the next day, they don't seem to be on the same page.

It wasn't just KING either

We just didn't look like UM at all tonight. I guess we haven't in awhile

King was visibly frustrated tonight. He wore his frustration on his sleeve which is something I’ve never seen him do in close to 15 games here.

I believe he either: knows his knee isn’t right and is thinking about that knee instead of playing or has bad relationship with lashlee... or both
Lashlee… I swear I saw King looking at the sidelines frustrated and moving his hands as if to give him a different play

I’m gonna let you in on a little secret, losing isn’t fun. When things aren’t going well, small problems turn into bigger ones. I have a feeling things are coming to a head sometime this season. There will be an incident on the sidelines, a mass exodus to the portal, or coaches leaving. This is not a healthy team.
Ok but what is it exactly that got it to this point? This is the first time Im hearing of internal locker room team issues. What is going on? I know the team is poorly coached and not playing well. What is the big issue in the locker room?

We may just be seeing frustration, normal. Playing Bama was not the best idea, but the game was booked years ago, what can you do? We‘ll see what kind of therapist Manny is, although I don’t have any expectation.

Rah-rah stuff grows old quick when there isn’t a lot to be happy about. This is where being disciplined, not too high, not too low, gets a team over complacency and through rough patches.

When you continue to play guys sho don’t deserve to be playing it’s obvious. When you get embarrassed on national tv bc you didn’t have a game plan it bothers the kids. When your coach goes on tv and says that he pretty much expected to lose, guys see that. And when you do the same against a clearly inferior team and nothing changes it continues to boil. The kids can only do so much. The coaches are holding them back. There is nothing more frustrating than that.

In my opinion Ive seen enough of Lashlee's offense. It is one of the worst offenses I have ever seen here. This isn't the type of offense that is going to bring us back into the 21st century. This is Enos minus the under center stuff and running game that literally consists of one play. This is Nix level bad.

Now that every DC on the schedule has had a year to study the film Lashlee wont be fooling anybody. During the off season I was certain that Lashlee would install much more now that we had a normal off season to do so. Never for a second did I ever consider the possibility that the offense we saw last year was the entire thing.

Right before the season Lashlee gave an interview and they asked him about installing more of the offense. Lashlee replied that instead of adding more plays that they were going to concentrate on executing the same plays at a higher level. I never for one second ever thought to take his reply at face value. I was certain that it was coach speak and that we would greatly expand the running game and passing game. I reasoned that it just made sense to assume that the entire offense would be expanded. The fact that I was wrong and that he is literally running the exact same thing as last year does shock me. Every single defense we play is going to know exactly what we are going to do before we do it. We have no running game to speak of. Absolutely none. Even if Chaney and Knighton were playing nothing would change. A P5 OC that uses 1 running play? Ive never seen anything like it before.

Then I completely agree. Thank you for going into detail. These kids need to get the staff in a meeting and vent their frustrations before this explodes.

Manny knows he’s a walking dead man, he’s gonna fail here, anyone that disagrees is lying to themselves.
Well hopefully they'll be gone sooner rather than later 🤔but once the wheels come off you know the rest no fans in the stand then the seat gets hotter than ever

Manny is all about participation trophies. He will never hold the team to the high standards that fans do. He really thinks this was a good win. That should tell you all you need to know about him.

You have to win big against teams you are supposed to, win most of the ones against equal talent, and compete against teams with more talent than you.
Do those 3 and players will in general be satisfied trust their coaching staff. When this doesn’t happen, then players start getting unhappy and stop trusting their coaches.
