I've seen other boards do something similar and run it for years consistently and I figure this might be a fun weekly thing to start up especially with the bye week approaching
If everyone is into it and I get positive feedback...
I'll typically start this every Tuesday or Wednesday night, giving people the chance to participate before the Thursday night games
I'll pick 15 games a week and you have the choice to of whether or not the team will cover the spread
Keep in mind spreads can change daily and throughout the week, I will not be updating them throughout the week as it would be impossible to grade. Each spread I grab will be most recent spread posted right before the pick'em and will not be edited before competition over.
Each Tuesday I will calculate the winner, 2nd place, and 3rd place and post in the next week's pick'em
Tie breaker will be total points scored in a random game for the week (typically a popular game or one we will most likely all check on)
for transparency, all lines will be taken off of NCAA College Football Odds and Daily Lines - ESPN using sportsbetting.ag spread
I'll also try to include games that are at least relevant to our success, i.e. teams ranked ahead of us, our opponents, acc teams, etc.
I will update final scores of games as they happen to the right of this format below in RED
Only response needed is the name of the team.
