LOL at ACC refs working this game.
That is the one element that scares me the most.
I don't trust those inbreds.

Based on this film, they don't have a legitimate playmaker on the outside & our speed on the DLine will give them problems.

Only way we lose is if Kaaya has another bad game, which I highly doubt will happen.

We'll open up the playbook and stretch the field, they don't have one defender who can cover Njoku or Herndon & their Dline is undersized, which means Walton & Yearby will eat.

Also, they haven't beaten a Power 5 team in 9 years, they simply don't have enough talent to keep up.

So you just gonna forget about the WR from Booker T??
Lmao @ you trolling thinking Hopkins is a legitimate playmaker...

Yeah 12 catches in 2 years for less than 100yds is absolutely electrifying...

You're hilarious Vern, I know you're probably sacrificing chickens & goats to the Gods hoping we lose just you can say I told you so, smh.

WHy would I want us to lose? and when did I say were gonna lose?? I just dont think it will be a blowout..Hopkins barely played last year what are you taklin about? They ara a running team and he lead them in yards and targets against tennesee..If you think he cant make a play you are crazy...

I didn't say it would be a blowout either, but I think we win by at least 2TD's...

And Hopkins hasn't scored a TD yet in his career, I'm sorry, I'm not shook of him at all.

In his defense, he's a redshirt freshman. Coaching staff seems **** bent on getting the ball to him and in my opinion, he seems like he could be valuable closer to the red zone. He's quick and can get from the LOS to first down marker quick but he's not gonna run away from many people.

Crap. We only have one true advantage over App State. That's not much, guys. Not much at all.

Skill players...That's right. The offensive line against defensive line is a push and I think the scheme App runs will present issues in line play on both sides of the ball. Just my .02 which don't account for much and certainly not here.

Believe i'll leave the room and let you all fight over how much you'll win by because App barely beat FAU....(hint: they've never played FAU) Continue to be ignorant of facts, don't be surprised when the outcome isn't what you expect. Which really is what you should be used to by now since Dorsey left anyway. He'll be in NC on Saturday i'm sure. Maybe give em a call?

A couple of things here.

1. Where the **** do they put the extra 8,000+ people?
2. There are going to be a lot of Miami fans. We got 2,500 tickets, and I know a lot of Miami fans who did not get tickets through the school.

The Mountaineers play to overflow crowds on a regular basis at 23,150-seat Kidd-Brewer Stadium, where they are 77-15 in their last 92 games. The local attendance record of 31,528 is guaranteed to fall Saturday. The game has been sold-out for weeks, with a few tickets remaining on StubHub starting at $175. That’s about four times the value of a normal App State ticket.

Per the game contract signed last Nov. 18, the ACC will select the on-field and replay officials. Miami gets 500 complimentary tickets and 1,500 for sale. According to UM, it actually received 2,500 tickets.

Capacity is actually 24,050, I'm pretty sure. And they put the extra in the grassy area behind one of the end zones. But that has to be packed with 8k in there. I remember watching the game where they had the 31k (playoff game against Wofford, I believe), but I don't recall seeing how jammed in the peeps were.

Can't compare the UT game to our match up on Saturday. Couple of things

1. We don't have a potato at quarterback that can't complete a pass. Dobbs couldn't even complete his short passes, and regardless of what the one App St fan says, it wasn't because of pressure all the time. Dobbs sucks as a passer and he didn't run him, making their offense one deminsional. They literally ran the ball 8 series in a row on first down with Hurd and then tried to pass.
2. We are more of a power run team compared to UTs finesse spread zone concept. UTs oline is worse than ours, which is hard to believe.
3. Shoops defense is similar to Mannys. Tennessee gave up less than 300 yards total. App St scored on a very short field off a fumble recovery and their back made a play. They were 3-13 in on 3rd down. They moved the ball well on jet sweeps, but once they took that away they struggled. They cut block a lot, which was getting in Tennessees heads. Like I said, they ended up figuring them out and shutting it down.
4. App St won ST for the night even though they missed some FGs. Got a fumble on a punt return and had a good punt return to set up a scoring chance that they botched.

Summary: protect the ball, throw the ball down field to spread them out and challenge them with our playmakers. Swarm to the ball and stay sound in gap integrity just like GT. I really don't think we need some kind of all world effort here.

Funny having ignorant hillbillies from a shīt school in the mountains come talking sheeed on this board. Other App Store posters have shown the proper deference and respect. You need to learn this from your fellow bumpkins. You need to understand your place in the pecking order, hick.

It will be a good game for a half..... I'm not worried, but fswho now that's a different animal... that we will finally SLAY this year!!!

I thought Tenn's defense line looked like trash vs App State. Didn't really see any playmakers

They didn't make many plays and still held them to under 300 yards of offense. What does that tell us?

I know about him, seen him play at BTW, I wasn't impressed then & I'm not now...

Speaking of VT.

That is the most mentally weak VT team I think I've ever seen in the past decade.

One fumble and the entire team calls it a day.

Not a good sign for Fuentes
That's some Al Golden bull excuse. They are not good. They got out to a lucky start, Tenn is just way better than they are. Nothing to do with Fumbling

Agreed...it takes time for a team to learn a new system. I bet they will straight about week 9 or 10.
