Man we need a “Pete” like person back

Don’t hold your breath.

The athletic department is being run by pros now and isn’t leaking like a rusty battleship, like it used to.

There will always be people that know people like Tweed or Dee or others, but the type of access Pete had was a combination of right time, right place, his hustle, and a lot of flapping lips.

Toward the end, it looked almost like they were intentionally feeding Pete bad info.

It makes sense why he moved on from his current role. It was amazing how inaccurate he was towards the end.

Pete was wrong last year, then people got mad when it was pointed out

Pretty sure Pete was just reporting the thoughts at the time of people he was talking to. When things looked south with Henderson, he said as much. This year he was off on Jobe, but clearly so was the staff. It's important to understand the context of information in fluid situations. The coaches are often overly optimistic just like us. Btw, we all know that one of Pete's big sources is now at UGA, and he's the biggest cheerleader around when it comes to pumping up hopes on his leaks.

No one is arguing that. But to say there's an equivalent amount of UM fans that have that mentality to SEC fans that have that mentality, would be ignorant.

My goodness there are a bunch of rooks in this board. A few pictures and a video got everybody creaming their pants. Now one insider is saying the same thing every insider is saying and y’all are flipping ****.

It’s two videos I’ve seen of them dancing and the other of them throwing the U up in there unis and Nesta said something like ‘’you know what time it is’’ I’ve tried to find it again but I can’t.

What if TC does go to Georgia so his sister can have that job, and he hates it there. There will be so much resentment between the two. TC will have nfl money in three years, and I’m sure she can find a job in South Florida with her brother goint to Miami. Plus, she might not even like Atlanta. My sister moved there 1.5 years ago and I hate it there. Traffic is horrible!

Last year Holloman didn’t come cause we didn’t give his brother a scholy. This year we might lose tc cause of a job offer? Im not buying it. What job did she get that we can’t give her at UM? And where did this rumor start? Sounds like an excuse to pick uga if that’s the case.
Was it his fam on here? If yes then I apologize. So many threads and pages I must have missed it.

We could offer his sister the same job but richt doesnt do **** like that. Richt is one of these by the book guy who won't break any rules. Georgia is down to do whatever to land the recruit. Thats why we lose out on kids who are looking for something extra from the school.

You are exactly right. CMR didn't allow such as that to occur on his watch, and there were quite a few stories during his tenure where he found out that something outside the lines was perhaps going down and he immediately put the kibosh on it thereby angering some of the alumni/boosters that wanted to conduct business in the alabummer way. This aspect of CMR is what made alot of us Georgia grads and football supporters to no longer support the team financially or in attendance once they got rid of him and moved our following with him to his new team. I have not donated a dollar to Georgia since they fired him and have redirected my contributions to U instead because I want to make sure that any money that I donate go to a cause/person with whom I can have total trust.

I am hoping for a clean sweep on Wed AM if nothing more than to knock that fake shine off of k shart and put him back in his place which is behind CMR.

How could you possibly be upset? We already locked down the #5 class in the country during early signing and filled every need except DT and SSDE. Anyone else we get is just the cherry on top - we got the rest of the **** cake already.

So what? Florida is literally crawling with DB prospects. The only reason you care about Surtain and Campbell is because of the number of stars next to their names. They could be the exact same players but if they went to some no name private school and had 2 stars next to their names like Miller did before he was discovered, you wouldnt give a rats *** about them. We already got the haul we wanted - now we're just shooting for the cherry on top. But we already have the whole **** cake and yet i'm supposed to feel bad about that?

Our class is already elite, guys like Frierson, Ivey, Hall and Blades are talented enough to win championships ffs. Even Bethel has the raw tools to dominate.

This!!! We are winning with or without those young men. I still believe they will sign with us. Kirby and CMR record over the past two years is the same!!!! They had a better roster than us, because our coach left them with a very nice roster, on the contrary, our roster was not as strong, yet we are right there. Until we win on signing day I will expect kids to leave, I hope the tide turns but thats all I can do is hope. These are our top 2 corners on our board no matter who we signed in the early period and they live close by, its a huge fail if they dont get them especially with one of our coaches basically giving birth to one of them.

I don't care if we have the #1 class, you always fight for more. Winners don't sit back and go "oh no, we've got enough talent...you go ahead and take those guys".

And I don't care what HS those guys went to, one look by anyone who know football would tell you they aren't 2* prospects. Too much size and speed for that, so don't pretend like the stars are randomly assigned.
