Official Injury Updates (should be posted here, OP has none)

Doubt we’ll get an answer…but just throwing it out there.

What’s realistic timeline for OJ? Some here have alluded to Nov. But Ariz mentioned over the weekend that there’s a possibility that he doesn’t return at all this season.

I’m not expecting him until December. Lucas and Antoine are the ones I wish we actually ******* knew when they would be back.

I would happily take December. Forget ND game. O’Connor, Lucas, Bryce, Brown and hopefully Antoine should be able to handle their own against them.

Just get OJ back for ACCCG…likely against Louisville which we’ll need him for. And obviously playoffs.

That garbage artificial field turf... I don't care how much it has improved from the astroturf of yesteryears... it is still a hard surface to come down on.

As a very wise coach once said, “availability is the most important trait that a player can have”, and we’re seeing that right now with the M.A.S.H. unit that is our Canes squad.

Why so many injuries? Conditioning, poor technique, improper stretching, playing surface, equipment, restricting full-contact/live-tackling drills?

How else is he out for the year and grabbing his shoulder area? A separation shouldn’t keep him out that long.

You have it exactly opposite.

The Stanford player came back from a broken collarbone after 3 weeks.

And multiple CIS posters have told their "shoulder separation" stories on the board for weeks, thus it's possible for a severe shoulder separation to keep a guy out for months.

This is a nightmare. Something in my gut told me we would have injury issues.
Anyway, next man up.

According to many CIS experts, Miami is probably going to move on from Josh Moore forever, since the most important ability is availability. If you get hurt two years in a row, Miami is supposed to cut bait.

Am I doing this right?

Last year was an anomaly. This is a collision sport.
Oh really? I didn't know "this is a collision sport." In other words, no one knows why and know one is asking this question? Maybe the staff should go back to last year's "anomaly" and see if they prepared differently. In fact, the staff should go back to last year's anomaly for a lot of information.

Caleb Williams looks like he tore his hamstring up and might be back next week. Lucas looked like he tweaked his hammy covering a punt and he’s out 4-6 weeks. Moore looked like just normal wr blocking on a db and he’s out for the season with a shoulder. I ain’t a doctor so I can’t explain it. Bizarre stuff

Have we ever had so many injuries so soon against mid competition? We had less injuries in the playoff last year!

Same field yet the injuries were one sided. Odd.

The only player who left the game for WF was Blades and it was a concussion.
