I am curious how that works out over the course of the season. If it was a dislocation, that makes it far more likely to happen again, unfortunately. Let's cross our fingers.
At least with a dislocation, it only just keeps happening and doesn't cause massive damage.
Hurts like **** the first time, and progressively less painful, but happens more often. You are right that if it does keep happening it's going to weaken the muscle, in turn making it not helpful for football.
AC joint separation can range 2-8 weeks pending severity. And it's once and done.
From the TV I thought the shoulder was completely ripped apart. Had the hanging sling arm and did so at the end of the game as well.

Being selfish as a fan, I want the dislocation, off season surgery will help and he can't train it for 2 months probably.

AC has 5 grades. 3 is longer than 8 weeks, more likely 3-4 months. 4-5 requires surgery and are similar recovery of 3-4 months.

Dislocations can lead to much worse injuries. That is why they will put kids in braces. You really don’t want it to dislocate over and over again. It will make the shoulder slop with much bigger tears and potential for multiple. Yes, they can play with it but I doubt most skill guys can/will play unless the tear is minor.

I’ve had almost all of these injuries:
Ac grade 3
Hundreds of dislocations with 3 different tears
Biceps tear at the labrum
SC grade 3
Multiple cuff tears

So if they're not out then they're not injured is Mario's philosophy.

He claimed he wanted to be secret service but I'm sure that was his CIA cover. These reports are just gonna start naming all our players "Redacted".

Crazy all our injuries are to starters or key contributors.

Starters or key contributors get the most snaps, are in on the most plays, and therefore statistically are much more likely to get hurt than players that are third string. It’s a simple as more opportunities to get hurt, more hits, more injuries.

Except Miami players only get around 25% of their snaps during games.

Imo, the real answer is the turf at Wake.

Gilbert- preseason
Antoine- camp
OJ - player on player
Brown - turf
Zeke- turf
Moore- turf or player on player
Maxx - player on player
