Just take care of business vs Temple and GT, and have everyone healthy going into the meat of our schedule. That back 7 is no joke. We want everyone available and our young pups coached up to contribute.
That is HUGE good news to hear. All 3 essential.Cristobal on if he expects to get defensive linemen that were held out of action against Bethune-Cookman, Akheem Mesidor, Branson Deen, and Nyjalik Kelly, back soon: “We do.”
Extremely encouraging on that front, was worried this would be a longer term thing with them
lol I am all for it but I think he previously said Zion should be back "soon" as well. For the record IDC, we arent required to report injuries for the media (yet) so why TF should we?When I heard that this morning I was a little surprised by that answer and very happy to hear it. Get these guys healthy and ready for the UNC game.
Coach Hayes at the 1 hour and 2 minute mark (1:02:30) said that he heard Branson Deen is done for the season. I hope he is mistaken.

I'd assume Deen and Mesidor are the last two to come back. Something tells me they'll be out this week, get that extra week of rest and Mesidor will be back for Ga Tech. Idk about Deen.Would be news to Mario, based on his comments the other day that all were close to returning.
The early schedule and bye definitely are working to our advantage this year with the early injuries. Don't have to rush anyone back. If we can keep some of these guys out til after the bye or even GT, would be a full month's rest. Of course it might be ideal to let them get some snaps vs GT to not come in cold on the road vs UNC.@Cribby said Deen would be out a little longer as of last week.
Whoever is ready to play will play. Can't just sit guys to get them rest especially once ACC play starts. The early schedule and bye definitely are working to our advantage this year with the early injuries. I'm just passing on public info.Would be news to Mario, based on his comments the other day that all were close to returning.
Yes, but considering the rain forecast for Saturday, I would 100% be more cautious and keep those guys off the field if possible.Whoever is ready to play will play. Can't just sit guys to get them rest especially once ACC play starts.
hold them all out till G Tech. no reason to rush them back if theyre not fully healthy.I'd figure Fletcher is good to go this week. If Kam, Kelly, Deen, and Mesidor don't play then they will be ready for Ga Tech. Remember we have a bye next week.
Last updste I heard I posted , Deen and Mesidor would be games. That was a couple days after A&M. Deen did have a procedure on his knee during spring so I’m not sure if that’s the same issue or a different one. Him and Mesidor was the only guys with an uncertain timeline.@Cribby said Deen would be out a little longer as of last week.
