One thing that stood out against Pitt is that we miss Demetrius Jackson. Garvin is a stud, but clearly he is a pass rush first guy right now. I counted two times in the Pitt game where he got up field way too quick and broke containment, allowing the QB to run right past him for a first down. Jackson did not allow that to happen for the most part. I don't recall who was playing the RDE on the bootleg TD. It would not surprise me if it was Garvin. Really wish we had Jackson going into this game.

Herndon and Berrios are the guys we rely on for a big play. Herndon is a big loss. From what we have seen, Irvin has great hands. But can he block on a consistent basis? IMO, he will do fine in the passing game. But he must hold his own on running plays for us to have any success. But when he comes out of the game, that will be a crap shoot. I really hope Langham takes his place in those TE slot formations. The less we see the backup TE's the better.

We also need a healthy Jackson and Young in this game. Young game has dropped off the past couple weeks. He is probably a bit worn down, maybe nursing some injury. We need both those guys at 100%.

ST: If we have another below average ST performance we have no chance. If Feagles performs like he did last week, it's basically game over. You cannot give a team like Clemson that much field advantage. There better be a backup punter ready to go in this game.
