injuries?

Vt had similar number of players hurt in the game.
A few injuries happen to almost every team but am I the only one that thinks this many has to do more with strength and conditioning coaches. I think the coach mustache is a stand up guy but every year since Cristobal has come we have been plagued by injuries. Please someone tell me I’m wrong and why bc I’d love to be wrong.

Alot of players from both teams were cramping during game. I know alot of folks were pointing at players faking injuries, but the VT player APR was escorted to the locker room. Also, kind of hard to tell if players were hurt or injured. Big difference. All of the players walked off on their own so this may be a good sign but, oth, I've seen players walk off field only to later learn they shredded their knee (ie., Najeh Davenport in 1999).

I’m still waiting for Zion to return from his original soft tissue injury that was supposed to have him out only a couple of weeks.

Its Been A Long Time Waiting GIF

Alston looked like he pulled his hamstring on VTs last TD. Go rewatch the replay. He got in fast on the rush and Drones escaped the sack. He reached back on his leg when he fell. Hopefully it’s not too serious.
Unlikely he would walk off the field if he actually pulled his hamstring. Could be a very minor pull I suppose, but a pulled hamstring is extremely painful and nearly impossible to walk on.

You must not really watch football.

Every team gets injuries. Oklahoma had like 12 guys out against Auburn.

Miami has fared rarely decently so far in the grand scheme of things.

Football is a fizical game. Injuries happen.

Now the one injury I would question is 3 defensive lineman all with soft tissue hamstring injuries. To me those may be preventable by certain types of training methods but I’m not expert.

Barrow was in the 2nd to last play. I don’t recall the final play’s personnel but he didn’t get hurt the prior play.

I was thinking Mesidor was banged up too but he was also in the 2nd to last play.

Barrow didn’t play a lot of the 4th. He exited with an injury but they likely told him he was needed at the end and to gut it out.

Rivers being held out as a precauitonary measure vs. FAMU, now is a gametime decision in game 6?

Soft tissue, he will be fine, Bain then misses 4 straight games.

Brown injury he will be ok, but be out little longer. Guy is in a boot with a scooter almost midway during season. Means he probably misses majority of season.

Nasty work Mario.

I made this same comment about a year ago but was completely ridiculed by our audience of dumb asses. If people on site site watched the UGA vs Bama game, those players were knocking the **** out of each other and for the most part playing on. I feel that VTech was a better conditioned team and much more physical than us. They were pushing our O Line like pinballs. It was embarrasing. We were lucky as **** to come out with a W.

Compared to most teams we are doing ok with injuries. Let’s hope our luck and the depth we have holds up.

This. I don't even want to put my thoughts into the universe, so I won't type them, but just think about the overall scope of the injuries we've seen. So far, so good. Get a win next week, and get a rest week. All systems go at Louisville.
