Injuries and attrition

That's the thing with having to play 4 extra games, maybe 5 with the conference chip games. Teams will start to slowly breakdown. Its all becoming more and more like the NFL. Its not always about who has the best roster, its about who is playing their best and who is healthiest.

That’s why so fortunate to have constructed roster with respectable depth - especially in secondary. Ended game without 3 of top 4 corners, plus Thomas missed a few plays.
They finished the game but not very well. Ole Miss was abusing our secondary in the 4th quarter. We need the experienced guys to suit up for the championship or it could be our downfall. If it’s Indiana Cignetti will scheme up some easy points against a bunch of freshmen.

He didn't move on the cart like someone with a broken rib.

I think him and OJ had to get IV in order to stop them from dehydration. Usually when players are hurt, the on-field-reporter says why - didn't happen in this case.

Yep.

You got a broken rib - or even a cracked rib - there's these sudden piercing stabs of pain with the slightest wrong movement - and I didn't see any of that.

'Cause you can't hide it.
