Indoor Practice Facility update

its been a long time coming.

Crazy to think just 3-4 years ago, we all thought this program was dead.

Thank you Coach Richt and **** you Shalala

And queue the Shalala apologists.....

Last I saw of her, she was leaving the glass Hilary Victory Palace with her trail between her short little legs. She was reason enough for me to vote for Trump.

It's cute when people that have never been on campus, much less taken a college level course try to explain something they obviously know nothing about. If you think that Frenk had anything to do with this, outside of lending his name to a couple of tweets, and glad handing, then you are a moron. If this was an academic donation, it would be far more plausible, especially with his background in public health. This was an athletic department project, and they should get all the credit for finding a way to get this finished. The concept started with Golden, but Richt's star power got the project over the top, along with a renewed interest in the program, thanks to Richt's resume and track record.

"James, during an in-depth conversation assessing the state of his program, cited something else, too: The Board of Trustees’ 2015 decision to raise the salary pool for assistant coaches, something James advocated, has made a tangible difference with the quality of this staff, allowing UM to lure coaches it otherwise might not have, from defensive coordinator Manny Diaz to defensive line coach Craig Kuligowski to offensive line coach Stacy Searels, who was pursued by Georgia Tech."

'“The staff Mark has put together is first rate and obviously to bring that staff together, it probably required the resources we provided to Mark to lure them,' James said."

So Shalala goes after Richt every time there's an opening for the football program. She acquires massive amounts of funding for the athletics programs through stadium deals, conference realignment, and apparel. Once Richt becomes available we can actually afford him and his staff. So....**** Shalala, right guysm?

There are two types of Miami fans: Those that have a clue(Mostly people who have actually been to campus, who actually understand that it's the UNIVERSITY of Miami, not "Football Vocational School of Coral Gables", and those who think that University Presidents at top research schools spend the majority of their day fundraising for the athletic department.

Isn't Frenk doing his job, promoting the program, fundraising, and not getting in the way of things happening?

What else could you ask your President to do besides come out of pocket

General Frenk makes every chick he's with bleed profusely, so he would know exactly what color her blood is.

Of course he is but don't let that get in the way of a thread like this.

I heard Frenk is actually building the IPF himself, and is transferring research money from Bascom Palmer for the remaining funds needed for the project.

Right. There would literally be no difference if Shalala were still president. People might find that hard to believe but it's the truth.
