indoor facility remains goal for Miami.

We need a real coach.

Times of a good coach and no indoor facility beat out times of an indoor facility and a ****** like we have now.

UM would have to give up the third football field at the top of the practice area, but could allow for an additional area's to be put in IPF.

I can't see the justification of an indoor facility. IMO, it's just a new toy every school thinks they need to "keep up".

It seems like something that's nice to have: if it's raining, you can go inside. But the real issue is: are recruits actually going to look at UM as a non-serious football program if they don't have one?

I don't have any idea. Certainly, close to zero of the recruits will ever have played in an indoor practice facility at the high school level, so it won't be something they've grown accustomed to. But I guess if they see that every other school's got one, they could get the idea that it's like trying to have a football program without an equipment room.

Good point, why do other schools put up a indoor facility.....Because at some point they will have crappy weather to practice. The
U does not have that issue,so save your money.Play and practice in So.Fl.weather and by 4th quarter.the Northern Schools will call it quits.Think
like Green Bay only in reverse.

Well, we just have a reasonable prediction that our bad weather will come in the afternoon. Or that it will be hurricane/tropical storm bad, and it would be dangerous to drive to the indoor practice facility.

This is the kind of **** that makes me want to go to campus and smack blake james in the face. What an incompetent POS. This is his ******* job, and he is HORRENDOUS at it. Is he incapable of getting things done and taking initiative? Seriously...?

**** him, he is a terrible AD

Dude look back at how many practices our guys missed last summer and fall as a result of thunderstorms and such. If anyone needs an indoor field, its probably us. Practicing in the cold up north sucks, but it is certainly possible. You can't practice in a thunderstorm. Blake needs to take initiative FOR ONE GOD **** TIME and do something to benefit this program. Can't stand him

Because schools we are recruiting against have them. If that's not reason enough to convince you, you're a moron. And, if someone gives me the, "we didn't need it in 1987" crap, I'm jumping through the computer to punch you in the throat.
