I do agree this is a weird thing to get a gripe about. I think it was moreso the comparison to SEC’s unorthodox man coverages that got him upset as if IU didn’t do anything complex so he wanted to send a shot back that he knew everything bama would do on offense.

I hadn’t seen the other back and forths now I’m intrigued. Reminiscent of another broyles winner in Gattis lol

Maybe I am misremembering, it was the whole Mike Ryan lets meet at the A gap Hubris when many were online talking about size of oline compared to Dline..

Worst fanbase in all of CFB. Even more so than Taint, They had the worst winning percentage of any team in CFB history until last season. Now they have the second worst winning percentage, and they are beating their chests all over social media as if they are the greatest team ever.

Can’t wait to see these clowns be humbled, and I hope that we are the ones that do it. They take on the personality of their cheating coach.

They never win anything and once they do they act like total nerds. They were the worst of all fan bases at least on social media. In person I wouldn’t know I’m sure they got some good ones but their **** fans stood out so much

My son and I went to the Natty, sat at the 50 behind the Canes bench, 20 rows. Unfortunately the 50 is the dividing line so the other side of the 50 was mostly Indiana fans. JFC, what an experience. They come off like Mr Nice Midwestern Buddy Boys and Girls. Reality,.. f**king A**holes. It’s like they talk out of their mouth on their face and it’s IceCream and Apple Pie. Then the voice from the back of their head is talking S**t. But they’re not very good at it, awkward as f**k. Standing waiting to get into HR gave a full frontal insight to their obnoxious f**kery. You’re absolutely correct that the whole run to the NC has gone to their heads and somehow they deemed themselves the greatest CFB team in history. Without having any notable history to speak of. Arrogance and Hubris make for a long ugly fall from grace when things go south. Can’t wait🙌🏽GoCanes

I agree definitely about social media.

But fam the reason we have so much hate is in the words of Alonzo Highsmith "we were a microwave dynasty" ourselves. Now we've sustained it with our run from 00 to 03. And now back.

But alot of our fans didnt act any different tbf.

Its funny how things progress. Bc its funny to see us act like Alabama. Like you ain't no blueblood son. Indiana sit the **** down 🤣 Its competition. If we dont like em dancing on social media, stop em.

I pay them no attention… in this age of look at me their real fans kinda deserve to pop they ****. But most of them act like bandwagoneer fans.

Prior to Cignetti arriving IU football was in back and forth competition with Wake Forest for all time losing program in P4. They’ve been miserable for a long time
