Indiana cheating ?

I was also surprised to see how much Indiana spent this year - it was a lot more than i would have expected. They are not cheap whatsoever.
he has a blueprint for what he looks for. my friends player played for him at IUP and said he was a great coach. Whats crazy to me is how many mediocre coaches have been hired over and over for big jobs but this guy was lingering at mid majors.

I don't think i can call a guy who started 2 companies and sold then for $6M and then $5.7B a moron or dumb. Someone can get lucky once, but a guy who starts and sells 2 companies at those costs is smart enough to do something 99% of the population isn't smart enough to do.

I WISH i was that dumb.
I have eyes and ears. He’s a ******* dolt.

Or maybe they’re just well coached and half their roster is filled with guys who have played college football for 4 or more years and are over 22 years old.

My guess is they aren’t cheating but they are using a new technology to give themselves a competitive edge.

Along the lines of the first team to use film to study an opponent back in the 1920 or 30s. Probably took a while for everyone else to catch on and probably some coaches thought it was too “new school” and refused it.

Yeah my buddy has a neighbor that knows Cignetti well and is always telling us stories. He's been a known commodity in football circles for a while, just not as much to the public. I love how miserable he always looks, reminds me of myself many work days.

Haha and some of your foolish people thought it was a bad thing Coach is a caveman. Mario Cristobal not gonna upload gameplan to information superhighway. He just gonna hit you with a rock
This is true. This is where Mongo being a caveman pays off. I mean run the ball and stop the run and contain and we win. 💁🏻‍♂️

I am more suspicious of their line play... I guess it could be their age (i.e. 22-24 years old going against 19-21 year olds), but could well be some juicing going on there.
They’re not as old as everyone keeps saying. Only a couple spots ahead of Miami in average years played per player (I forgot to save the tweet)

It literally makes 0 sense.
Your telling me you went into the portal and manage to grab every single player that was overlooked and managed to not only identify them but have all of them play above their ranking to the point that your demolishing teams with ridiculous blue chip ratios and coaching staffs that are large enough to game plan around you?
They’re not beating teams. They are destroying them and making it look easy.
I saw players on that team yesterday that didn’t even have a drop of sweat in the 3rd quarter.

You’re telling me cig figured out a way to do that in 2 years?

Cig is beating all of cfb worse than Saban. And Saban had a **** corporation behind him doing evaluations, psych profiles, nutrition, sports science and more. And most importantly talent at the 3 deep with consecutive number one classes for over a decade.

Something is not right. Sorry that’s not sour grapes. That’s just obvious that he’s doing something different. Is it cheating? Idk. But definitely when you see an outlier like that you have to at the very least start asking questions.

the IU pick 6 was also reminiscent of Scott’s pick 6- just film study and tendencies. They probably saw Moore goes to that particular route a lot on 1st down early in games. Not cheating, just smart film study. RB knocking ball out of Moores hand was bad luck. Thats 14 pts. Then blocked punt due to bad snap effectively handed IU a 21 pt lead. Oregon is a mentally soft team and folded. No magic required. Without those self inflicted wounds, game likely ends by around the same score as the 1st time around, probably 35-20. Which is also the likely score between Ole **** and UM if Miami doesn’t drop 4 INTs.

People dont want to watch the actual games. Talking heads still look at Miami as the team that lost to Louisville and SMU. That’s fine. Make IU a 14 pt favorite.

I started to think this might be a thing watching their Bama game. Seemed “Venables-esque”. This rumbling is probably starting in coaching circles. I’ve heard Bud Elliott, outside the tweet always mention their “preparation”. Almost a dog whistle

I’m not saying they’re cheating, but there are so many metrics that they are completely going against that It’s really crazy.

Trends. You find the trends/habits - you can more successfully anticipate an opponent's likely move.

In my past, I was the tracker of men. I'd note that when stepping over a log/rock - they'd always use the same foot first.

An obstacle in the middle of a trail, they'd take one side or the other. Their walking speed in dense vegetation and how it changed in broken country. How often they'd break, how they'd stop with care in certain terrain. How disciplined was he in his traversing.

Soon enough, I could break out my map and determine their destination - and on one occasion sped along a parallel track - and was waiting for him.

AI is a tool. It reads - patterns. Probabilities - but based on massive data points. Quickly.

You embrace and use it - or you draw a play out of a bucket and take your chances. But know this - everyone has habits they don't even realize. You use the same streets to the same destinations, you go to bed generally at the same time, your car is parked repetitively - your eating habits are similarly timed - any one of us would be an easy task for a canny sniper.

Read the tells. Film study does this - but AI does it accurately and quickly.
