In the doghouse with the wife

My wife went back to the bedroom I think before half time or little after halftime. She can’t stand it when t and beat themselves and that’s why she left, I closed the door to the hallway and after the game she asked why, I said so I wouldn’t wake you up if we lost, turns out her feed was a play ahead of the tv I was watching so she already knew we won.

last play of the game she starts freaking out cheering and yelling

After a few seconds genuinely concerned she’s like “are you ok?” because I hadn’t moved or said anything

I’m like “checking for flags”

I think when they were interviewing Mario after the game I was still checking to make sure there was no flag
Same, I did not move for a hot minute. In my head I was thinking zoom out mf, I need to scan for flags!"

One of mine went to sleep just before kickoff and the other woke up right after the score went final (and then again in the middle of the night). I love my children deeply, but there's no way we're having a third!

I can relate to three or four of the stories in this thread. What a ridiculous night.
I'll put it this way, I was driving to my then girls apartment whilst Miami was in the final stages of the Louisville game last year.

She got a lot of lovin that night.

I got told I only wanted it because Miami won and if they lost I wouldn’t want anything

Still hit

Did you quote Jack Nicholson from the Departed?

"What's got you all hot and bothered?"

"Get in the car, I'll show you."

I was analyzing every piece of confetti flying around to make sure it wasn’t a flag.

AND I WOULD DO IT AGAIN. GO CANES
Rookie mistake by the wife there. Gotta let us melt down. We'll come back to sanity.. Usually

Are you me? That happened in my home as well - almost exactly the same. Wow.
