No chance. Schiano's wife Christy hated her short window of time in South Florida and was against him taking the head coaching gig here in 2006. She wasn't coming back with him as top dog, let alone back to the same assistant role he had in 1999-2000.

He was most certainly a "take" on talent, but he wasn't ever interested in us. Same is true of Elam. You do know recruits eliminate us and even if They don't do it overtly, the coaches get a feel on that.

Again, where's your proof that Rumph wanted whomever and Manny didn't. Those are your words and why we're here.
