in hindsight

Samuel and davis. And originally bandy. All of them are shorter corners but can play.

To say that Rumph wanted them and Manny didn't, you would have to be on the staff to know that. All were second tier their recruiting years, so it made sense to keep recruiting them, while waiting on what the higher prospects decided. So it could most certainly appear that Rumph wanted them. Even if what you say is true, Rumph nor Manny is going to say what you did.

Idk about anybody else but the craziest part to me, is that on a larger scale not very many of the hot coaching candidates over the last few years have actually turned out to be any good at all.

I wonder what that’s about. Like I’m legit shocked that Fuente is that bad at VT.

What? They wanted brownlee and davis is better than him. And davis was ranked higher.

I heard a lot of kids were asking who Butch was and were ready to commit to UGA and Bama regardless of who we named.

Heard a lot of kids were ready for Butch and if we got him sofa kids that weren’t even considering us were going to jump on board
Guessing you guys heard all that from the mongoloids whose only form of sustenance is Booch’s butt sweat.

For all the bozos who think the only available coaches every time we look for a new HC are MonkeyBoy Schiano, Booch, and Beanerdict Arnold, please put on your Russell Athletics skin tight faded number 11 replica jersey and guzzle some anti-freeze.

If you want the ultimate referendum on what an overrated sack of **** Schiano is as a football coach just look at the huge difference in the way Ohio Taint is playing defense this year.

Bottom line.

We're hiring like Alabama after Stallings and before Saban. Always thinking it has to be a Miami guy. The one time we went outside of that. We went full ****** and hired a Temple coach that was lost in the Pedo state of mind.

That's a quick recipes for failure.

Recipe for success would be. Open up the wallet and quit being cheap. Now sure. You can say we opened it up for Richt but we also crumbled to his demands and went cheap everywhere else. We also payed this guy too much money. Especially when he said openly that he might retire.

Could be sitting here with Tom Herman or other coaches like Campbell. The list could go on and on because we could have a really good staff across the board. Not just at one or two spots but across the board but we are cheap and we are looking at Miami guys with Miami ties.

You got Urban out there right now. If your wanting to hire the best available guy. He is the man you get after. He isn't going to be there for long because some school is going to be hungry and say **** it and pull the trigger. Or at least they will try to convince him. He maybe done with the game, but try.

We don't owe anybody anything. If they have a better offer. They aren't going to give us a two year notice before they leave. They gone. Whether it is another school paying more or the NFL.

everyone is like mannys defense. We could have had butch and schiano together. unreal.

Urban hires Schiano .....

Schiano becomes OSU DC .....

Schiano gets great players ....

Urban works with Schiano and gets a front row look at his ability ...

Urban fires Schiano ....

UM fans think Schiano is a great hire ....

IQ test for typical UM fan shows why they pretty much are all working the counter at Wendy’s

That about sums up the situation?

Who did Samuel and Davis sign with, and if you know, how are they doing.

Man! It is stunning that you would think for more than a nano-second Urban Meyers would accept a job at Miami, or for that matter, any other coach of merit. Urban is certainly far from being mentally stable, but he is not bouncing off the walls insane.

No established, successful coach (head or assistant) will ever again accept a job with the Canes, because they know Miami has become the place to come and see a coaches reputation ripped to shreds and die due to our "loyal" and always "appreciative" fanbase. ****, Enos has to be slamming his head against a wall while screaming; Why! Why! Why!, while Saban roars with laughter.

There's are countless reasons that Miami fans accomplished the impossible and supplanted the Gators to become the worst fanbase in all of college football.

As for the best available hire that would consider coaching the Canes...give one of the local flag football coaches a call, of course, you should brace yourself for disappointment as I suspect the response will be a bloated, smelly...NO!!!

Brownlee earned it when they went and saw him practice at CC. That's a feeder school and they were on Davis then as well. Davis just had bigger offers on his mind.

You emphatically stated that Rumph wanted some guys and Manny didn't until late. Impossible to prove unless you're on the staff.

Dude you dont know what you are talking about. Davis wasn't a take and that's well documented. It aint that big of deal. Diaz didn't want him and liked other guys more. Shìt is over with he aint here.
