Beyond impressed with this interview. I try not to put too much stock in coach interviews in any sport but Laz spoke to a large portion of our fanbase when he was touching on kids these days don’t know how to play The game. Music to my ears to hear him say that and emphasize that’s a focus

Something interesting I noticed on Saturday was that he regularly wandered down to the bullpen to check on the relievers warming up. Can’t say I ever remember seeing JD do that.
